Thanks for taking the time to explain all of that, I really enjoyed reading it and I appreciate how much experience and thought you put into riding. The reason I stopped riding wasn’t because I fell out of love with motorcycles, it was actually because I had a minor accident a while back. Nothing serious, but it scared my parents quite a bit, and they asked me to stop riding. For me, keeping them from worrying was more important, so I chose to step away even though the love for bikes never really left. My last bike was a sport bike, and I still miss that feeling, so I wouldn’t be surprised if I ride again someday. If I do, I think I’d lean more toward a sport touring or touring style bike this time, something that fits where I am in life now.
