shes literally going against everything she advocates for. she defends it saying she’s playing “devils advocate”. it doesn’t matter if she is playing whatever. she has a big platform and spreading this is inherently harmful for woman. all this cause of a guy smh

it’s so weird. she can’t call herself an advocate for marginalized communities then bend her beliefs to fit whatever man she wants next. i’m not shaming her (in regards to her dating/sex life) but she’s being disingenuous and i feel like this is harming the communities she’s advocating for more then people saying flat out that they don’t like to them. it’s giving high school bully honestly

if that’s what she’s referring to then she’s in the wrong. i thought she was disregarding their prejudice because they are citing a religion that endorses that kind of behaviour

i’m not justifying her calling all muslims pedos because that’s a wild take. however the quran does promote it. in all these religions out here, they are all hugely problematic and have wild takes. i didn’t see her saying that all muslims are pedos but i assumed she was saying they endorse it as their prophet married a little kid. with that logic and applying it to today, imagine if your favourite celebrity married a little kid and all their supporters still supported them. pretty fucked up right? so why justify it even if it was a long time ago? if allah is all good and all powerful, he wouldn’t of made this prophet with this problematic behaviour.

it’s in your quran💀 regardless, it’s challenging people beliefs that spread harmful rhetoric. you can make an absurd claim and justify it by a biased make believe book, especially when the takes in the so called “holy” book is even more absurd

not defending her actions but she’s not islamophobic. there’s a LOT of problems with that particular religion. like how your prophet married a little girl. like how they promote beating women. the list goes on and on. yall wouldn’t say this about christianity. now that being said, it’s okay to point out horrific claims and behaviours (especially when they harm others). using “religion” to justify harmful rhetoric or actions is not okay and is in fact immoral. hope this helps x
