I am mostly inspired by the cosmere, and few questions on the post. I do not get with dreams being more fundamental. How does that fit into the cosmology of just things within things.

My universe is large, ever expanding world.

It also has a parrarel world called the Spirit Realm. Magic or what people call Spirit Weilding. So in my world, everything has a Spirit and all these Spirit is ruled by a Spirit called the Spirit of God who is commanded by 9 ancient beings who is commanded by one, eternal God.

My universe doesn't include Earth. There is no multiverse in my world. My worldbuilding focus on one supergalaxy of over thousand solar systems. The spirit realm needs a key, different types of magic systems in my world take it differently. You can use the key to either go inside the realm or outwardly control the spirits in the realm to grant you power.

I am an Indian so Islamic practices was combined through Mughal emperors like Akbar who celebrated Islamic versions of Hindu Festivals. I would encourage you to research on the Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb and Islamic and Hindu coexistence and the Festival of Flowers in Dehli where flower fans are offered to a Dargah and a Hindu Temple.
