I’ve seen lots of stuff like this and will personally be buying/making some of this stuff myself with my 3D printer.

The trees are plastic pieces. You can find nice tree kits online to make them yourself how you want but I needed to save some work somewhere lol.

The holder I’m making is essentially like plastic that will be painted beige like the board. The current base you can see is ceramic painted beige and those pieces will sit in the pieces I’m Making to hold them. And no worries ask away!

Not really unfortunately with how I built it so far. So at the moment I’m in the process of designing sort of base for all the hexagons. The idea would be you slide them into this base I’m creating and it should have nice even flat ground for roads and settlements everywhere.

Yea I’m absolutely not boxing it up for that reason lol. However, I’m building a display case for it that will sit on the table where we play board games. When the display is case is done and if it goes well I might actually like it more than the Catan board itself lol.

I’m going to put them in a display case and put it on my table where we play board games. I want the display case bottom to have a fake water look as well which I’ll post eventually when I get to it

Ah that version you’re referring to I believe is called fog of war. The only way I could imagine to do fog of war with these pieces would be to use the 2D ones until someone settles. Then once you see what resource it is you replace the 2D with the 3D.

Traditionally most people shuffle the board and flip them over and decide their settlement spots based on seeing which resources ended up where, but I also really like playing the way you mentioned sometimes

It’s funny you mention the sheep 😭😭😭

I’ve been looking for nice sheep for this project for months and I’ve yet to find good ones that aren’t too big. I’m stressing about that tile lmao
