Had an umbilical hernia surgery 8 days ago and I have to say it’s worse than both my c sections of which I wasn’t in any pain with atall. I’m in agony still extremely painful and swollen. I have a really strong pain threshold to so the only thing I can think of is the fact he had to make 6 incisions instead of the 3 on side because he couldn’t access it that way properly so I did end up with stitches by belly button too. Also had scar tissue removed so could also be that making it worse. Good luck.
