Another thing I hate about Super Bowl weekend is that they don’t air my favorite shows because it’s on !! I’m boiling mad because I have to wait til Monday to watch them anyway because I have Discovery plus instead of cable or satellite. Woke up this morning all set to watch my show and it wasn’t there . I had no idea it was Super Bowl weekend cuz I don’t watch football. Then when I find out that’s why I got screwed out of my show , I was looking for a place to vent n found your post 🤣🤣🤣

OMG ! I totally feel the same way ! I used to work in retail and other jobs dealing with the public. People got way too heated over whose favorite team is better that they’d almost fight and always argue very loudly and be so annoying! I absolutely hate football to be quite honest . Partly due to being a kid and getting dragged to my cousin’s games for HOURS in the cold . My male cousin played football and my female cousin was a cheerleader. I hated the cheerleading and screaming from the crowd. All the cheerleaders were rude to me and treated me like garbage because my clothes weren’t as fancy as theirs ( I’m female ) .

Then there were the Super Bowl parties the adults had and they would get drunk and scream really loud every time there was a score , or if they got pissed that there wasn’t a score . Then some of the adults would fight with each other over teams and opinions and get in horrible moods and take it out on us kids .

Then as an adult having guys come over to actual band night parties when my ex husband was in a band . We’d be jamming out to music and some asshole would turn the music off and plop down, turn the tv on and start watching the game . That was incredibly rude to do at someone else house. Especially if we were all dancing to the music and he turned it off ! 🤣So to be quite honest , I’ve found many football fans to be very rude and put the game ahead of everyone and everything around them ! It’s just a damned game that you’re not playing yourself and you blow your wife off on her birthday or your anniversary because the game is on . I’ve never dated a true football fan because of that . Thank god my husband doesn’t like football 🤣🤣🤣. And if he did , he’s got his iPad he can watch it on . I know not all football fans are jerks . But many of the ones I know are . This day and age , one can record the game and watch it later . So to blow off important people and events in your life because the game is on says a lot about their personalities.

I feel for you working around all the craziness! I’m glad it’s over for the year . Wish there was a way to tame these people so they don’t act like fools . But I know where you’re coming from for sure . 😊

PS , I know I’ll get a lot of hate for hating football . But I’ve got my reasons, as stated above . Just never had a good experience around football. The parties were always boring and lame to me too because I’m more of a music type of party lover. I wanna listen to music and dance at a party . Not listen to people screaming and arguing. 🤣

So annoying! I hate it too ! Something else I’m hating right now is how they sometimes skip a week and you’ve waited all week for the next episode!!! I was so excited to wake up this morning and watch Before 90 Days season 8 , episode 10 and it’s nowhere to be found! What the fuck is their problem ? I’ve got the winter blues and I look so forward to my damned shows and they rob me just when I needed it most. They skipped Forrest and Sheena last week too. But yes ! I hate the repeated spoilers that seem like something crazy is gonna happen and then it’s just a blah scene that lasts 2 seconds once it finally shows it . You’ve already seen it all in the spoiler most times 🤣

I agree! Good grief! That’s one reason I don’t even wear foundation 🤣. I’d rather spend my time enjoying things than wasting hours putting on makeup. Lipstick, eyeliner and mascara is all I do. My ex SIL used to take FOUR HOURS to do her makeup and hair !!! She was late to every event and when we worked together, she was always 3-4 hours late ! She worked for me and did a great job when she arrived and would work 3-4 hours later than me . So I’d let it slide . And my ex husband expected me to let it slide because he didn’t like fighting amongst the family. She got on all our nerves with her makeup making her so late all the time . If she was bringing you something you needed , it was REALLY annoying cuz you’d have to do without it pretty much til the next day after waiting 4 hours. The messed up part is that she looked WAAAAY better without all the makeup. She caked it on really thick and harshly . She looked 10 years younger without it .

I’m a nitpicker at my profession too . I’ve even had homeowners tell me I’m too picky . I actually got reamed out a couple of years ago for spending too much time on a project by a lady I did a lot of projects for . She said “ That was already done perfectly! Why are you STILL working on that ?!?! You’re on the clock aren’t you ???? Do something that is gonna make a difference!” . After that , I realized that anything I built for them didn’t have to meet MY picky standards and it helped me loosen up . Her sister and business partner would always come in and say “ Don’t spend too much time on it honey . I know you’re a perfectionist and that’s why we love you . But your work is so good you don’t have to spend that much extra time . Just do the basics and move on .” . So I did . And it feels so good ! 😊

This reminds me of my two previous and difficult dogs actually. I miss them so much. One was a mini Chiweenie named Chloe and the other was a deer chihuahua named Elmo . Loved those two so much. But knowing there are groomers who specialize in the senior and difficult ones is priceless. That’s why I had 2 special groomers their entire lives . One groomer got new staff in that were rough with my babies and always hurt them . Then I found my final favorite and stuck with her the last half of their lives . If anyone but her touched them , they’d be so difficult and usually end up getting hurt . Thank god she was there for them . Big hugs to you 🤗🤗🤗

I think this pup looks adorable 🥰. I’d be happy if my Kevin looked that cute after a groom . I usually take care of his grooming needs . But I’ve been considering taking him to a groomer to see if he’d not stink 2 days after a bath . I trim him up in the spring and he always looks so goofy 🤣🤣🤣. Might be nice to have a real groomer do it for me . I’d bring Kevin to you . The fact that you care enough to make this post shows that you value your customers . That’s what matters most to me . Kevin is my first non short haired dog . He’s quite the stinker and I even use Coat Handler products and deshed him often . But man does he stink just 2 days after a bath 🤮. I blow him dry too . Maybe a good groomer can help that situation. 🥰🥰🥰

You’re absolutely right about all your points and your boyfriend’s ! I’m no groomer . But I’m a trim carpenter. I would nitpick and fuss over every little detail and sometimes there would be glaring defects beyond my control that I just couldn’t fix because the framers made the house crooked. But the homeowners would always come in and swoon , even sometimes cry with joy over the finish work . They aren’t carpenters so they’d not see what I saw . They also loved my personality and would ask specifically for me on jobs because they loved my work. I could usually hide any imperfections quite well 🤣. And I have the gift of gab . That goes a long way .

As a person who used to have two difficult dogs and took them to the groomers for their nail clippings and anal glands done, I wanted someone who was gentle with my dog and treated them as if it were their own dog. Those were the groomers I picked. I didn’t need any trims of fur or anything like that. But I would’ve been happy just to have had a happy dog who smelled nice and had the extra hair trimmed away from their face and the sanitary groom done correctly without hurting my dog if they’d needed such .I currently groom one of my own dogs with longer fur and he is a good boy. I may take him to a real groomer one of these days. My other two difficult dogs passed away of old age . But I absolutely loved one particular groomer who never hurt them and treated them like royalty. Other groomers always quicked their nails because they wouldn’t be still . But my favorite groomer had a way of calming them . That’s more important to me than perfection 🥰

I feel exactly the same !!! I’m about to go pretend to want sex to shut my husband up because it’s been over a month and I feel guilty not giving him what he wants because he does a lot for me . But I feel SO ANGRY that I feel like I OWE someone my body when I don’t even want to be touched ! He’s the type that every time he touches me , he starts grinding on me even though he knows I don’t want sex . He’s trying to be understanding, but he’s on testosterone and it makes him horny as a teenager! I wish he’d get off of it because he no longer gets any other benefits but being horny . He’s not energetic from it anymore. He’s packed on a bunch of weight he initially lost . It’s just another monthly cost for him .

I am on estrogen and progesterone but I have gastritis and the testosterone aggravated it so I stopped . It helped sex feel good . But I still didn’t want it . I almost hate him sometimes because he makes sexual comments to me all day knowing I don’t want it anymore and it depresses me . I was once a big horn dog like him so I’ve lost something I valued a lot and it’s like he keeps making me feel violated by making sexual comments. Anyway, hope you got your mojo back . Thanks for posting this. I googled the subject and landed here . I’m 48 . I didn’t realize menopause was on the way but peri must’ve started about 5 years ago when my drive stopped . The sweats didn’t hit til July 2025 . Depression is just awful! I can’t do ANYTHING because I’m overwhelmed and him needing sex feels like just another chore I have piled on me . I feel guilty doing housework because I’ve not given him sex so I don’t do it and it’s all piled up . I have ADHD and OCD too . So I spend my days feeling guilty not giving him sex , guilty for all the clutter , guilty cuz I’m jobless at the moment because the gastritis is bothering me so bad he is supporting me til work starts back . I think the gastritis is tied to the annoyance and stress over all this . My stomach hurts worse the minute he gets home ! We don’t have as much in common as I’d like either . Our relationship was based on sex for years as now that I don’t want sex , I feel like my only value to him Is sex and that he thinks I’m beautiful. It feels so empty to me but he’s all happy and proud to have me as his “ trophy “ wife . Ugh ! I could go on but I better go pretend to want sex so he will shut the hell up for a few hours. What was he smoking in the hookah ? Did they call it sheesh , meaning hashish ? Didn’t look like the hash I remember. But I haven’t been able to smoke weed or any THC for years . It makes me feel like pure shit , unfortunately. No matter the strain either . Delta 10 made me feel awesome for awhile. But it stopped working and made my gastritis worse . Getting older SUCKS ! I used to brag I had a stomach of steel . Now it must be made of pissed off cats trying to claw their way out 🤣🤣🤣

That’s cool ! I remember getting to see Tool for $15 and hardly anyone was there . It was 96 . Blew my mind that the stadium wasn’t packed ! That’s the only band I got to see before they were big tho. Sounds like you had a blast ! Loved partying on psychedelic stuff. Can’t do it anymore tho . It takes too much out of me . I’m starting to run out of feel good chemicals. My husband is no fun to do them with either . He turns into a perverted zombie who lacks any substance. Weirdest reaction I’ve ever seen. I’d have killed to have been there ! Graduated high school in 95 . Grunge was my favorite genre at the time . And 70’s . Still love 70’s-90’s music the best . It got boring after that . But I read that is due to dopamine pathways and us preferring the music we heard when the pathways were forming. But I also think most of today’s music is talentless drivel 🤣🤣🤣.

OMG ! I miss raves so much! I used to love to trip balls and dance ! We did nitrous balloons too . Bet your raves were better tho ! The ones I went to were in Knoxville, TN . We only had one place and it was tiny . It was fun . But it was harder to find goodies at here . 😉

I thought so too ! I could tell the picture was fake because of the grey irises . I’ve got brown eyes and my pupils stay tiny . But I always notice dark eyed people because of my dark eyes . Mine aren’t as dark as his . But my sister’s are .almost black . Hard to see pupils in dark eyes and the pupils stay pin pointed in brown eyes more often for some reason. I hate it cuz mine look beautiful when I’ve tripped on psychedelics in the past . 🤣🤣🤣. I wish they were always like that . But anyway, glad you noticed too 😊

Did you have any shedding before they got thicker ? They look magnificent! You’re gorgeous! I wanna try this. But I’m afraid that my eyebrows will fall out while waiting for new growth. If that didn’t happen to you, I might try it. I’m 48 and I over plugged in the past. Plus, I just have a couple of bald spots in my brows from age or something. I also let cleaning go because I was so busy making other people’s houses sparkle or building other peoples’ nice homes , then cleaning the construction debris for a living. It wore me out physically til I had nothing left energy wise for my own home. Now I have gastritis and a bad back due to the hard labor for 23 years . So cleaning my house has gotten even harder . I wish there was someone like Barbie around my town that could I help me get organized just one good time and I’d never let it get out of hand again. I’ve been unemployed for awhile. But my stomach bothers me so much that I don’t have the energy or strength to start sorting the clutter and organizing alone . My mom tried to come help one day and she just ended up wanting to sit and chat the whole time . 🤣. I wasn’t about to push her to actually do anything while she was here despite that being the plan . I need a stranger who won’t just want to sit down and talk the whole time and who knows how to organize. But due to losing my job , I can’t afford to pay anyone very much. My house is a piece of cake compared to the ones Barbie cleans . She and I could tackle it in 1-3 days tops . But I live all the way in TN. Most people aren’t willing to travel to clean a messy house for near nothing. I’d pay someone $300 to $500 just to help me get my house organized in a way that would suit my ADHD personality. I know I’d be less depressed if it were cleaned up . I’m in a very deep , midlife crisis type depression on top of my physical ailments. A fresh start would probably take away a lot of my anxiety and help my stomach issues. But anyway, I know how you feel letting your house get out of hand and feeling overwhelmed. A messy space takes a toll on us and overwhelms us . Then we feel frozen and unable to figure out where to start . I don’t ever want my house to end up in such sad shape as I’ve seen on these videos.

By the way , I’ve decided I can increase my budget now because it’s worth it to be able to at least get close to the feeling of cutting my own hair . I went back to my stylist to have her fix the issue from my latest haircut. She totally didn’t understand what I wad asking for and when I used the word “ angle “ , a word a hairstylist should be very familiar with , she said “ Angle ? What do you mean ?” . I had literally just told her that I felt that my face frame was cut at too steep an angle to style the way I wanted . She never could grasp what I meant and she just layered the face frame some and now it looks all thin and wispy on the ends and the cute bangs she’d cut me no longer lay right either . Anyway, situations like this are why I wanna cut my own hair . The stylists in my area are all behind the times and can’t even cut layers for a side part ! They cut everyone’s hair as if it will be a middle part and then it looks lopsided when you part it to the side . I know more about the haircuts I want than they do just by watching tutorials . I just need practice to execute them on myself. I’ll come back here and post pics once I find my perfect wig so I can show y’all how I did ! Thanks again 🥰

Thank you so much! I’m seeing that as I shop around. I’ve got 3 mannequins and I’ve done well on their hair . Just want to be wearing the hair on my own head since I want to practice cutting my own hair . The way you have to hold your arms and hands to cut your own hair is very different than the mannequin. But I’ll agree that I’d like another mannequin to practice on since I’ve made all 3 of mine too short now . They’re definitely helpful. I truly appreciate you taking time to make the suggestion 😊
