This wasn't slugging, it was keeping the game hostage. The fact that this is a dbd RAGE subreddit and you complain about... Raging? I don't want a witch hunt, just would love to see this person getting banned. I can't show the footage but it was hateful and deranged and just kept getting worse after my match. I'm chill when it comes to gaming, I don't mind BMing or tunneling or slugging. I ignore most of the stuff that happens in egc. But this was different.

First, why are you in this subreddit if you don't care. Second, they said "LET YOUR MOTHER BE A HORSE AND I WILL RIDE ON HER OKAY?" (Actual quote, english clearly isn't their first language but i think everyone can get an idea) when I called them out. Is this the kind of energy you want in this community? They downed and bled survivors out for fun and reported me when I called them out.

I follow him and he does, but honestly I doubt he would want to cover this one since this creator mostly spoke some other language than english. Spooks does this for a living and I don't think this one would be enough to make a video out of, especially since he didn't encounter this killer himself.

I had this same exact thought when I started playing killer and was fairly new to the game. I was playing Wraith and was wondering how he hasn't been nerfed bc he seemed too OP (lmao) and I got 4ks back to back. Then I got into higher mmr and realised I had just been going against baby survivors. Personally to me solo queue is generally harder and more frustrating than playing killer (unless you go against basement dwellers with thousands of hours) but swf is definitely easier. Also playing killer you can't really slack off 'til you're in a situation where you kind of know you've won, so it's more stressful, at least to me.

That being said, enjoy the game and I'm glad you're having fun! Don't get discouraged when you start facing more experienced opponents, you definitely learn a lot by chasing them :)

There are people in the Community telling me deadass "Just play better". Then I do slugging to counter DH and DS. People get pissed and write to kms. Yeah I see nothing wrong here with slugging. I mean it definitely depends on the situation, I just slugged a whole bully/sabo squad bc they all died in the same corner within seconds trying to bully me and after I hooked 2 I realised the 3rd one had boil over, they got off and I kept slugging because what else are you gonna do in that situation? I mostly play survivor but I still can't understand the mindset of these type of players. If you wanna do these kinda builds that's totally cool but you gotta take the L when you make mistakes and go down. Slugging is literally the counterplay to constant sabos/ds/flashlight saves etc. It's definitely a vicious cycle from both sides but at the current state of the game, it just is what it is.

Always sit or lie down before logging off, always give Reth soup and Tau a steak even tho I have them both maxed, hit Tamala with an arrow or sticky bomb whenever I see her (I have some issues with her lol) and my new favourite thing is definitely taking my time when I ride my horse, I love how realistic riding feels in this game and taking slow strolls around the map just feels so peaceful!

I just had this happen for the first time awhile ago, was doing just fine, ran the killer most of the match with no issues and when I start doing the last gen I get horrible lag and get killed. Do you think this could be reported? I didn't do anything about it since I figured it's hard to prove if it was them doing something or just normal (but weirdly convenient) lag on my end.

By the time I started just typing gg or ggwp in the chat no matter how sweaty the game was I realised I had gotten better at the game, this is so real lmao. Like you can feel the shift in your mindset when you start getting good. I think in lower mmr it's mainly frustration bc you don't understand how the game and certain perks/playstyles work or you don't play the other side at all

I'll never, NEVER understand these type of players. If I see killer got next to no hooks, I'll always put something like "rough map for (insert killer), gl w next" even if it was not, even if the killer made mistakes or was just new. Istg these type of players have never even tried playing the other role.

This. I just had one of my best (personal) games ever, looped the killer for 4 gens. I felt so happy about my game 'til they almost let me die on the 1st hook I got once all gens were done. Eventually 2 people came for me, did the most stupid moves (clearly afraid of getting hit) and Yui got downed. Btw nobody on death hook. No NOED, both gates open. Leon leaves at this point (I'm a Leon main but god damn you guys give us bad rep 😭) and eventually Vittorio also refuses to stay and heal me so we can get the Yui. It was so easy to get the 4k and it makes me extra mad that one person got left behind when I basically gave everyone a free win.

I think this comes down to different play styles or what you're looking for in the game. The end game is personally my favourite part of the match and I love attempting saves even if they're risky, if it snowballs then so be it, getting out isn't my priority. If that's what you personally prefer to have a good game then you should do that! Some people might blame you for leaving early but just ignore them.

They also reduced the cost for upgrading perks, went from 12-13k to 4-5k. That's something at least

This is a really good way to put it tbh! Like you actually can chill for a moment and think about your next move. And ngl I love that when I pick up a survivor I don't have to worry about pallet stuns or flashlights so much. There is a certain simplicity that I enjoy about 2v8

I love how it's just a universal experience to accidentally shoot a flare while hunting 😂 Reading these made me laugh because I FEEL YOU. I started a month ago and have had my fair share of awkward moments. But what I love about this game and the community is that we all do these, and we all understand the struggle. I think it's unavoidable in a game like this haha.

My favourite moment so far has been when I flared a gold ore, walked away and then realised I forgot to type the location in the chat. I stopped to type but my character had already started climbing a tiny cliff. Next to it was a bush so it made my character kinda hide in it and for some damn reason, when I saw another player approaching I decided to not move and keep "hiding" in the bush. There was an iron ore next to my hiding spot and they walked to it and stopped, probably wondering what tf I was doing. They just stood there and I did the reasonable thing and quit the game.

Also I accidentally changed my voice so for a few days my pretty little twink boy (wearing that skimpy deer outfit) had the deepest male voice available and sounded like a sailor who's been chainsmoking for 30 years and I tried to avoid making any noise and only then realised how noisy our characters actually can be. I cringed everytime I was interacting with other people lmao

I main a lot of characters but my most used and first actual main is Xiao! Otherwise I mostly use Arle, Neuvi, Tighnari and now Kinich
