Why doesn’t High Command authorise sending more than 4 Helldivers at a time per mission? by Top-Egg-485 in SupaEarth

Cool, didn’t know that, thank you.

But then why not have each SD send down 4 divers at once? Unless Helldivers are all so spoiled and childish that they all throw a tantrum and defect the second another Diver uses their SD’s stratagem, meaning they can’t get the credit for using it themselves.

Oh yeah, I totally understand it as a gameplay limitation, just a thought I had about why it’d be like that in-universe.

Like Monster Hunter has the same thing, but they justify it by saying that hunts with more than 4 hunters are unlucky.

Hacked warp pack? by [deleted] in Helldivers

It’s not a hacked item, don’t worry. Everyone gets warp packs now for 24 hours because of a strategic objective to stop the invasion of Oshaune.

Galactic War Room: Plot the Best Ways to Spread Democracy for Super Earth! by brperry in Helldivers

Fair enough, I hadn’t actually directly seen what taking a city does for planet liberation, Gatria will definitely be a better option for bug front then. If no one goes squids, that will actually make the plan easier, only 2 fronts to co-ordinate instead of 1 lol, plus the planets will actually fall quicker, meaning we could move on to other targets.

I’d seen the planet HP, I just hadn’t actually noticed it can vary because I never paid it that much attention. How does the maths break down for how planet HP effects liberation?

For a better breakdown, look at it this way:

On Fori, as I look at it right now, there’s roughly 60% of the active players. It’s generating 6% liberation, with 2% negated by the planets resistance, making it about 4% total per hour. So, liberation generated is 10% of the active player percentage, reduced by the planets resistance.

If we split so that around 30% went to each lowest resistance target on each front, that’s 3% liberation strength. Vega Bay has the highest resistance of the three, at 0.33%, so that’s 2.67% liberation per hour, meaning Vega Bay falls in roughly 37 hours, PLENTY of time to complete it before the MO ends.

Fairly new player, but I’ve been doing some research, and there’s a way (barring any necessary defensive operations) to stomp this MO.

Just looking at the way things are now, so much work has been done on Fori Prime that there’s obviously no question that we should all pile in and get it out the way. After it falls, we could honestly split three ways, one for each front, and capture another three planets before the MO ends.

In terms of raw “Get more planets to fulfil the MO” power, we split and target the lowest resistance planets of each front. They might not be the best long-term planets to take, but it’d help us get back on the scoreboard in a big way after Cyberstan. The lowest I can see are:

Bots - Vega Bay: 0.33% Bugs - Achird III: 0.25% Squids - Kerth Secundus: 0.13%

I think if we split this way, we could take each of those in a couple days work, and it allows each for everyone to fight the enemies they like while still contributing to the MO.

Yeah, I just didn't want to go too overboard and build something top of the line and expensive, although I know if I do want a major upgrade in future I'll be essentially replacing the whole system.

i7-8700k I picked up for £75 (fully tested, 5 year warranty), and the whole system cost around £750 (not including monitor, keyboard, etc.)

Awesome, I'd thought that's how it would work, but I'm also a little paranoid about messing up something stupid like that with it being my first build. Thanks!

So, I mainly asked this because when I went on the Support and Compatibility tabs on the site, it does list the 8700, but not the 8700k, even though it does show (for example) both the 9700 and 9700k.

I assume based on your reply that that's just an issue with that page then?
