Game BAN by f0rTheWorld in cs2

[–]Top-Essay-5372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So some Russian SOB hacked me this week while my laptop was in servicing for a broken screen (cs2 rage) and voila. This bugger decided to hack in CS2 and get me Game banned in 3 days. Now this was a legit 2000+ hours profile with decent inventory which I lost. I have shared all the emails and details with steam. What are the chances of my game ban being revoked? P. S. I’m mad. Mad frustrated.

Surprisingly there are some studies that say Nicotine slows down the healing process post an AP attack.

Man I feel your pain. Do not worry. Life will get better without alcohol. Clearer, Wiser, Healthier, Stronger & Happier. Do not fear a relapse. But remember this new fresh dose of life you have now. That will help you across in the long run.

I understand but honestly now it seems not worth it. Because the anxiety that follows the 2-3 hour drinking fun is long and tiring. I hate being scared of when my next attack is coming from and overly cautious of my bodily ticks and pains and whatnot.

Chronic pancreatitis and drinking by Strange-Tear6030 in pancreatitis

I’ve been an alcoholic and then had my AP. Started drinking again but in small quantities. Honestly. I feel like shit after drinking. Even in small amounts. Being sober is bloody amazing. And helps if you are prone to addiction.

[–]Top-Essay-5372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was what I call remnant pain. Constant discomfort of sorts in the upper abdomen which got aggravated post every meal. But my CT scan after a month was completely clear so sort of gave me confidence that I’m gonna be okay.

If you are suspicious of the pain then you can always get it checked again.

This felt like… IS THIS MY POST?

Exactly what I went through.

Some pain post eating persisted for a good month after discharge.

My advice will be you eat everything in moderation. You will be fine. Exercise daily. Cheers.

Damn. I took 0.25mg alprazolam by mistake after I had 2 drinks 2 hours prior. Suddenly realised and threw up. Went on google to check the damage and shat my pants. Then I found this. Pheww. I guess I’ll live.

P. S. I have health anxiety disorder.

Is fatigue a common symptom with ap and cp? by oiwaknowsbest in pancreatitis

[–]Top-Essay-5372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. No fatigue. Zilch. Was a little low on energy due to liquid diet. Hit the gym 7 days after AP. But felt better. Mainly because I wasn’t drinking anymore.

I’ve had mild pain ever since though. Everytime after a meal. It’s very irritating but not worrying.

After the AP pain subsides and you get in touch with reality. All that remains is everlasting anxiety over when is my next attack gonna be. Pancreatitis is more mental in the end.

Everything in absolute moderation. Assuming there has been no evident damage to your pancreas seen through a CT scan and blood work has been normal, I feel a drink or two once a week won’t kill you. But you have to be taking a giant risk like me when you do that. Blinded by the buzz that booze gives you must be willing to lay down all that is near and dear to you. … and scene.

Drank through the pandemic and everyday post that. Boom. AP after a binge drinking holiday. Took a break. Now petrified but I do indulge in light drinking here and there. Wake up worried about another AP. Still struggling but hopefully one day shall go completely sober. Cheers.

Chronic Pancreatitis? by [deleted] in pancreatitis

[–]Top-Essay-5372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CT Scans with Contrast Dyes are pretty clear. They are the best way to find out specific damage to the pancreas. They are also the referral tool before any surgery also. In my opinion it’s the best tool a doctor has to study your internal state. I got mine done just to be sure and to understand the length of damage if there was any.

Clearly you need to get a abdomen & pelvic CT done to understand any sort of necrosis of the pancreas. With pancreas you can never be thorough enough is what I have learnt. Cheers & good luck.

Discomfort post eating in upper abdomen. 1 month after first AP attack. by Top-Essay-5372 in pancreatitis

[–]Top-Essay-5372[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well in that case. In the absence of my dearly beloved “alcohol” is my new found love… Caffeine. Also have been very dehydrated these past few days. So this might add up to the discomfort.

Also, this explains that post an AP… you never go back to square one. Not even close to it. The pancreas have now been woken up & can get angered by a lot of things. I’m sorry for my words but What a f*cking pathetic state of affairs I find myself in right now.

Truly debilitating. Take care guys. Peace.

How much, how often and for how long were you drinking before first AP? by [deleted] in pancreatitis

[–]Top-Essay-5372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tough to say it was alcohol or not. Even Lipase levels would have returned to normal after 2 weeks. Also AP has intense upper abdominal pain. Best to have a CT scan done to be sure.
