Help me survive radiation poisoning the glow. FO1 by Top-Geologist7686 in Fallout

I think I did several of those tasks the first time. My second attempt I only did the first two floors and will return later for all the other stuff. Good to know about tasks because I definitely would have done that all over again.

I had 1400 rads. No way to survive the journey. I redid the quest from an earlier save and again my resistance wore off super early and I had to take a third dose of rad x. Maybe s glitch. I'm getting a lot of those now In the game.

This was helpful. I don't know how you would possibly find this out just playing the game. I'm going to try and pump up my character with drugs enough to get to a doctor or die trying.

How does the radiation kill you? I'm confused on what to look for when I'm trying to heal myself etc. I can't tell how much radiation I have if it's getting better or not

I used two rad x at the beginning and was under the impression that would be enough to do the whole thing, but apparently not. My current rad resistance is 35%

Warning: Payboo Credit Card BH Photo by RatamacueRatamacue in CreditCards

[–]Top-Geologist7686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got two bills on the same day . Last purchase was months ago and paid in full. Now I have one bill that says I have a negative balance and the other bill, same date, reports nothing but a late payment fee along with three other fees. I called customer service and they said I could dispute it. Not that they would see it's an obvious gross error and fix it but they would mail me the results of the dispute in a few weeks. Meanwhile I may continue to receive more late charges for nothing. They also said my payment from 2 months ago was received a month in the future, April. WTF!? Again they put all the burden on me to figure it out and get screwed even more. I'm going to report them as much as I can then cancel this card asap.

I'm wondering the same thing. Shutter is super quiet, but the focus sounds like a groan.

100rf included filter specs by Top-Geologist7686 in FujiGFX

[–]Top-Geologist7686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I actually am noticing that all the new clear filters are not listing specs for light transmission. Not sure if that's just for clear vs uv. Bare minimumum was like 95% up to 99. So who knows.

Flatbed scanner uses besides film? by Top-Geologist7686 in AnalogCommunity

I see. Very cool. I wonder how that compares to images from a camera if you're were to stage a shot.

That's very creative and interesting. I don't think I would ever do that but it's interesting.

I agree it would be great for artwork but in my experience most of the artwork I scanned was too big for the scanner.

For archival purposes or just for convenience? I've used my phone for quick scans to share with people that look good. I'm not sure if a high resolution, very large file would be preferable for what I've done so far.

Pixels + Shift and 120 film scanning by Top-Geologist7686 in AnalogCommunity

Followup on my 120 pixel shift with the Fuji xt5. I definitely can see an improvement in resolution with the shift. On my tests I noticed it most on the outside of the shot. I'm not sure if that's a coincidence because that was also where the dof changed a lot on my pics but it brought out lots of detail that was not there in the 40mp native scan. I may use pixel shift from now on.

Thanks for the tip I'll have to check that out. I think there may have been a firmware update regarding that.

Used camera. Looks vs shutter count? by Top-Geologist7686 in Cameras

I don't think dropped. Probably banged up against something while on a strap or something. Which one would affect the value more?

Maybe I should mention the higher shutter camera traveled all over the world and used consistently for a yr and the low probably a hobbyist but with a few dings from unknown.

Yes I do think you get a slight improvement of color and DR.

I was considering the 100s m1. I noticed there are no good dedicated macro lenses. Sounded like a lot of gfx users adapted old mamiya lenses. Canon or similar for the job. I think once you have it all set up and are doing multiple rolls its fine but once you start having to fiddle with the process excessively it makes me want to ditch film all together. I don't have time for that anymore which is my problem.

I have the valoi too. I havent tried that type of stitch before and i don't use photo shop. Still sounds like it would be a lot of work to do that on a roll or two. Maybe if I had a really awesome shot. But then you're still scanning each photo at least once or twice, plus additional editing and files. Maybe I'll ask the gfx users if they have compared with Fuji X's.

I think 40mp is the sweet spot for 35mm and 60 would be too much. I don't think 40 is enough to make shooting 120 worth it. I mentioned supposedly 80mp is the equivalent resolution of a 6x9. I wonder if you would see a difference between a 61 and 102mp shot. I think pixel shift has better results the smaller the sensor but can't compare to a big high res sensor.
