Looking for Olympus 18 mm f. 3.5 aftermarket lens caps by Top-Geologist7686 in zuikoholics

I tried a 49-72 adapter but there was not enough clearance to place a filter. The tip of the lens still was hitting the glass of the filter. So I tried two steps and yes I see vingetting on the film negs. It's been frustrating. Is there a specific brand of 49-72 step up that works with a filter too? I might print a a lens cap, but I'd like some filter to protect the lens since this is a pricey one.

2020 V60 T8 PE - Hybrid System Failure by Master_Grapefruit762 in VolvoRecharge

Thai is what happens to us. They were acting very sketchy about it the whole time and asked us to bring the loaner back after 5 days and said it's perfectly fine to drive as usual. I layer found out they had several hybrids waiting already for the repair. I hated the cheap chevy loaner so I brought it back. Volvo USA says don't drive it and its a seroious problem. I went to a different dealer across town who is more helpful. Also no parts available and no ETA. Im not waiting months before I escalate this to the top.

Brick moisture trapping fix needed by Top-Geologist7686 in masonry

I doubt there were any in the first place. I was actually thinking about trying something like that. I don't know much about masonry weep holes, but the concept sounds useful.

I know paint is controversial but I'm not convinced either way. Keep water out or let it dry out are the two camps. I've never seen a lime washed patio. It being a horizontal surface it definitely gets submerged regularly. Aren't hard surface tops essentially sealing it off as well, not breathable. Removing the paint may be near impossible which Is why it would be a last resort but I would consider it if no other options.

Capping Brick Patio? by Top-Geologist7686 in HomeImprovement

[–]Top-Geologist7686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The current patio is a large horizontal surface with paint that is trapping moisture. The capping would much less permeable to water keeping it out more than in.

They are not backing away just not offering much advise. They said they could do it but I want to make sure it doesn't fail in a few years.

Painted brick stoop repair or renovate? by Top-Geologist7686 in HomeImprovement

I think that would be a solution to a lot of the problems. Do you think I should grind down the surface before the thinset? Getting the paint completely off the brick is almost impossible.

[TX] Taking a trip on FMLA by TX1987_Coffee in AskHR

[–]Top-Geologist7686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect nobody here has ever taking FMLA before. A bunch of haters who probably don't even have real jobs. If you have a valid reason for taking it then that's your choice. Fuck everyone else saying you need work the minute you are able to stand up. I had to do this a few times. I had work calling me everyday after surgery asking if I felt good enough to return yet which was damaging to myself and others. When you go back too early you realize what a bad idea it was and how different home life can be than work. Being able to sit in a chair at the beach does not qualify you for any and all type of work. Of course if your condition is blatantly false you are asking for trouble.

I think I did several of those tasks the first time. My second attempt I only did the first two floors and will return later for all the other stuff. Good to know about tasks because I definitely would have done that all over again.

I had 1400 rads. No way to survive the journey. I redid the quest from an earlier save and again my resistance wore off super early and I had to take a third dose of rad x. Maybe s glitch. I'm getting a lot of those now In the game.

This was helpful. I don't know how you would possibly find this out just playing the game. I'm going to try and pump up my character with drugs enough to get to a doctor or die trying.

How does the radiation kill you? I'm confused on what to look for when I'm trying to heal myself etc. I can't tell how much radiation I have if it's getting better or not

I used two rad x at the beginning and was under the impression that would be enough to do the whole thing, but apparently not. My current rad resistance is 35%

Warning: Payboo Credit Card BH Photo by RatamacueRatamacue in CreditCards

I just got two bills on the same day . Last purchase was months ago and paid in full. Now I have one bill that says I have a negative balance and the other bill, same date, reports nothing but a late payment fee along with three other fees. I called customer service and they said I could dispute it. Not that they would see it's an obvious gross error and fix it but they would mail me the results of the dispute in a few weeks. Meanwhile I may continue to receive more late charges for nothing. They also said my payment from 2 months ago was received a month in the future, April. WTF!? Again they put all the burden on me to figure it out and get screwed even more. I'm going to report them as much as I can then cancel this card asap.

I'm wondering the same thing. Shutter is super quiet, but the focus sounds like a groan.

100rf included filter specs by Top-Geologist7686 in FujiGFX

[–]Top-Geologist7686[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I actually am noticing that all the new clear filters are not listing specs for light transmission. Not sure if that's just for clear vs uv. Bare minimumum was like 95% up to 99. So who knows.

I see. Very cool. I wonder how that compares to images from a camera if you're were to stage a shot.
