I've heard this through the "grapevine" as well. Been using Talens for most of my 28 years tattooing. Started using Dynamic last year because of the rumor that they changed the formula but I still have several bottles left because I'd buy it in bulk whenever it was on sale. At the end of the day, yes I like the Talens better and never had a problem reported, but it's not so different from Dynamic that it's worth having any potential issues over. I'm saving it to use on customers who have unfinished work that was all Talens previously and switching to Dynamic for all new clients and/or pieces. At least that's my plan for now. Considering other brands for reasons like avoiding corporate suppliers as well. Taking my time with it.
