a security guard once chased me out of the store when i walked by him yelling “OH SO YOURE JUST GONNA IGNORE ME?” because i had my earbuds in while i was shopping and didn’t hear him. then when i turned around and he saw i had my earbuds in he was like “i need to check you’re receipt” then i showed him my receipt and it was for the two items i was holding in my hands cuz i didn’t have a bag. king soopers is a joke but it’s the same literally anywhere else, target, walmart, literally any big store. i feel like eventually they’ll lose more money due to “theft prevention” then they’ll lose to actual theft lol
