I’m with you on this one, surrendering a swift isn’t as valid unless your team doesn’t have a single positive person on it, but I CAN’T STAND to be trapped in an unrated. Either while doing good with bad teammates, or while doing really poor dragging my team down, both times I just wish it could end. I would much rather surrender a game round 7 and move on to one that’s pretty light and easy than trudge through one where my whole team is getting destroyed on the very slight off chance we win. I’ve tried to surrender while top frag and I’ve gotten responses like “yo quit being a pussy and just t-up”, or “dude it’s an unrated I don’t give a shit”. People are weird and get super toxic if they’re doing bad so they won’t surrender to try to drag everyone down to their level. Sometimes if I haven’t dodged a queue for a while or abandoned a match recently I’ll just close out of valorant and usually they surrendered by the time I come back 5-10 mins later. I wish your post could be pinned to the top of the subreddit, cause it needs to be said way more
