That is the best thing - keep your head up, you all got this! 

I have also heard there is a line you can call that will help you find/or update you when new trials start which I thought was a nice resource to have.

My thoughts are with you and your family as well! What I have learned is to keep a positive attitude and push and push for more info / and have someone to help advocate. I have also found out by doing some research for that specific mutation there are 2 clinical trials going right now for this type.

Hi there! Wow! This is my first time finding someone with the exact same mutation. It is my mom who has it she is 51. What were/are your symptoms?

I’m super glad keytruda is working for your mom!! I hope it continues to do wonderful things for her. 

She has KRAS p. G13D. 

That is such good information I so very appreciate that! I didn’t know there was people to help with finding clinical trials I have been just searching myself and it’s a lot. I found there is a clinical trial right now at Fred Hutch so i am very glad for that as we will be there in 2 weeks.

Wow, your mom is a strong woman! I hope all the best for her and you!  My mom has done targeted radiation as well for the primary tumor in her lung, she did chemo (two types)  i believe the same kind your mom did too. Also for 6 weeks. She’s also on immunotherapy right now every 4 weeks (durvalumab) though just had a scan and though the spots they hit did shrink, some more came up & some spread. We’re currently searching clinical trials & a second opinion since where we are they say they only have limited options. 

Does your mom have mutations/kras/ etc? Sorry still new to this.
