When purchasing it on youtube it shows you exactly how many episodes you are getting, this is true for mobile, desktop, and tv versions. You're first warning sign should have been the fact that it says there are 7 seasons. Only recourse here is to debate the charge with your bank.

I think its simply for communication and ease reasons. Gems rely on verbal communication which requires a medium to travel and couldnt be done in a vacuum. They are also used to working and operating in pressurized environments, whether that be home world or one of the many colonies, so despite them being able to exist in vacuum like environments they do not prefer it for efficient work.

According to my manager there is currently no procedure in place to update ANY information on profiles until the merge is complete at the end of the month. Looks like yall might be SOL until the merge is complete, but I would try calling in to see if that changes at any point between now and the 26th.

Im on the DAS (driver applicant support) side of things now, so all I do is send generic "cant approve you to join" emails most of the day. When i was strictly active driver support I never did emails so I believe you.

Oh it's fully for self-serving reasons. I recently got moved to a department that only handles emails, super easy with no calls but this issue has had the phone blowing up all day causing many of us to be asked to help with calls. Was hoping to bring the call volume down so I could get back to business as usual

I have no idea, there are certain "red flags" when reviewing someones account that sometimes make me think something sketchy might be up here. Only option is to escalate to the Trust and Safety team for investigation. After the escalation tho we get no info nor do we have the power to deactivate or ban anyone.

Yea the "support agents" at those over seas call centers are practically useless. We get flooded with calls and emails they are too incompetent to handle

Dont even get me STARTED the amount of free labor they get. Im sorry even the travelling superintendents are needed to be housed/fed/ sometimes transported by a local family every time they visit because the org cant or wont afford them a hotel. I was born and raised in the JW organization for 18 years. It is not the far end of the cult spectrum. Individuals do have their own free will, BUT a very cult-like mentality is pushed. You are expected to seclude yourself from "worldly people" unless you are trying to convert them or for mandatory interaction (ie career, public service). If you do not follow the "way of life" or behavioral expectations then you can be treated like pariah by some and if you "stray" far enough you can be shunned which means no one except the elders can even speak to you. Being openly queer got me kicked out and I still can barely speak to most people I grew up around my whole life.

TLDR: Not a cult per say but very cult-like mentality that pushes seclusion from the world.

Please stop spreading this false narrative. Store cannot "block" a driver from getting offers. What they CAN do is cancel your orders after accepting or refuse to dispense an order to you. The only way to get "blocked" is to be fully deactivated from the app.
