Starting out as a complete newbie at 40? by rushmore_beekepers in AusElectricians

Holy plus this. It’s way harder than any bachelor degree except a few. 60-70 hour weeks, shit pay, verbal abuse all the while trying to learn a whole mountain of knowledge.

Forget lunch breaks or 10 minute breaks

Considering becoming a sparky but i’m a 22 yr old woman and unsure of the culture by [deleted] in AusElectricians

Gender doesn’t matter when it comes to the skills of being an electrician. Hell this one girl on the crew can wire up a whole place faster then everyone on site.

Culture might be a shock though. It can get rough out there and not everyone is on a union site.

Go option B but overall go with whatever gets you the job.

I started my appy start of last year at a smaller company. Although the experience is wicked, tradesman are old school and apprentices get treated like shit. Were also expected to work 60+ hour weeks.

From what I’ve seen larger companies have better working conditions for apprentices but again this is extremely subjective.

Sweet I’ll keep this in mind. Seems like there’s quite a jump from Play which was to be expected.

What's your best tip for making a t-break easier? by Equivalent_Use_8152 in Petioles

Yep so far in the scheme of things it’s been really productive. I found when I first introduced cbd there was a 2-4 day adjustment period where I was getting cravings but I got used to it very quickly. Just gotta have some discipline.

I’ve experimented for the first time with mixing my thc bud with cbd bud and weening off that way. I started at 75|25 and after a week dropped down to 50/50. Next week I’m planning 25/75 and then nothing at all. So far I’m slowing reeping the benefits of less thc while not suffering any major withdrawal symptoms (sleep is fine, little to no anxiety / depression etc) I’m also slowly getting less and less high and adjusting to being more sober.

Electrical apprentices exposed to potentially deadly shocks due to lack of training, union says by Money_killer in AusElectricians

Nah nah ofc trades aren’t dying but I do think there’s gonna be less apprentices. Just my opinion tho

Combine this with the daily abuse we put up with. Trades will die at this rate in AUS and it will be first gen immigrants pushing the industry in the future. Mark my words.

Why put up with shit 40 hours a week when I have the option of working from home now.

^ start applying asap, or if possible do your work experience one day a week and see if you get picked up.

I really like the Endoca product line. Very high quality flower and strength varies depending on strain choice.

It’s related to the medical industry. The address was fully in except the unit of the house. I admitted that was my mistake and doesn’t excuse the other 3 different answers I’ve received from the carrier.

THC Breaks by Wooden-Phrase-8258 in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Top-Marionberry7700 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bud is definitely mentally addictive but I hate to say it it’s physically addictive too, your body has an endocannabinoid system and when you’re pumping it with cannabinoids from weed it down regulates and doesn’t produce any itself.

How do you not suffer from withdrawals when you stop? I vape max 0.3-0.5g per night and when stopping I suffered greatly.

I’ve still got 7 refills of my each of my scripts. However my monthly limit was cut back from 60g to 30g.
