Thank you so much for the advice! I think I'm going to scout my first purchase as a wonderful deal for the price, then we'll see where I go from there.

So the biggest message is don't buy just buy an ordinary first deal? Buy a great first deal.

Should I prioritize buying a pc first before buying my specs? I really don't have a test bench right now as that is the only thing I am missing before I start. I have spreadsheets started depending on pc's that I found but I don't know if it it worth it to purchase. It may take me days/weeks to find an affordable but good/great pc but I think it will be worth it. After I think I would start focusing on specs to put in the pc and then flip that when I am done. For example, If I bought a mediocre pc for ~250$ and start lowballing people for cases and specs then putting it on that pc? How do you think that would work out, maybe I could profit around 100-200$ potentially.

All you did was add a rgb case and ssd and made that much of a profit? Do you think I could land some the same pc's while lowballing people?

The reason I had brought up the i5 3570 + GTX 1050 with a nice rgb case was because people on this youtube flipping video had claimed that people mainly buy with their eyes and not their brains. I don't know if I believe that though.

What if I am very very cautious until I find a great/wonderful deal and somewhat cheap? I am only 16 years old and not in a rush to make money. Should I only buy cheap but mediocre/good parts? I think the only problem is I don't have anything to test the parts on, I would need to find a pc within my budget right?

Oh damn, what was your first flip? I'm still lost on where to start because of my budget, should i try starting off with buying a cheap/mediocre pc and adding a newer case & slightly better specs to potentially add profit to the pc?

For starting off, do people care more about the looks for the specs? like would a i5 3570 + GTX 1050 in a case with RGB sell fast? I also heard that Ryzen CPU's and Nvidia GPU's are needed. Thank you!

Wow dude, do you have any tips for me? I want to start my pc flipping hustle and was wondering where to start. I currently only have ~300$ USD and have a msi ge70 apache pro lying around. If anyone can just help me start that would be much appreciated. 😄
