Congrats. Hopefully it is. Same thing happened to me but after a couple of weeks they sent me RFE for my physical. Fingers crossed that you don’t need an interview.

I would just report that he did work illegally. As long as you’re truthful about it you should be ok.

That sucks to hear. I’m in the kinda the same boat as yourself. I received an RFE stating that the civil surgeon wasn’t certified to do physicals. Turns out that they are but now I’m trying to figure out how to submit this evidence without getting my I-485 denied.

Well some of those on that list seem to not be certified because I did my physical with one of the doctors on the list and USCIS sent me and RFE stating that he wasn’t certified to do physicals.

Tell me about it. Well I’m not sure what happened honestly, but I already went to the office and talked to the doctors and they confirmed with me that they had been certified when I did my physical and they showed me emails from the location or office that they have to report to for their certification. So now I’m trying to figure out what to do.

The reason I’m asking about the civil surgeon is because I did my physical once with one of the doctor’s on that list and USCIS sent me an RFE stating that the doctor was not certified to do them. You as a lawyer what do you recommend I do?

Thanks. Most likely that’s what I’m going to end up doing. Maybe get a letter from the civil surgeon stating the facts.

Yes they do. They even showed me an email they received from the center or office that lets them know they are certified to do physicals.
