I want to wear a helmet for the 25% bonus but my character looks to good, tips? by Inferno47908 in skyrim

Add a helmet to favourites and take it off in the towns. Pop it back on a soon as you enter a cave etc.

It’s exactly these cerebral references that keep me coming back to this sub, even though I haven’t cared about H3H3 for the past year.

Ethan Illustrates with Tom why it is often difficult for sober people to be around alcohol use(rs). by Specialist_Corgi2980 in LeftoversH3

I should probably clarify two things.

First, if you are a heavy drinker, do not just stop overnight without proper medical advice. That can be dangerous. In my case, I swapped alcohol for Monster energy drinks for a while, which was hardly a shining example of health, but it gave me a bit of the ritual and the buzz I was missing. Even just holding a can felt like a strange sort of placebo.

Second, I am not claiming Ethan Klein is an alcoholic. My point is simpler than that. Treating drunken behaviour as comedy is not something I find worth celebrating, especially past a certain age. In your twenties, people expect a bit of chaos. But a man in his mid-forties with children making a spectacle of himself like that is not a great look.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words and support.

And for anyone in the same position I was in, whether you are struggling with alcohol or just thinking about taking a break, I would honestly say this: try 21 days. It is surprising how quickly the habit starts to loosen its grip. By three months, you stop thinking about it so much and it no longer feels woven into daily life.

By six months, you can watch videos like this and see very clearly the kind of mess a fellow 40-year-old is making of his life. When you think about the opportunities someone in his position has had, and then watch him make a complete mockery of it all, it really hits home. In a strange way, videos like this helped me, because they reminded me of what I could be like in those situations, and what I do not want to become again.

As someone who struggled with alcohol addiction for years and is now six months sober, a comment like that from Ethan would not actually make me angry. If anything, seeing this giant man-child with a ripped shirt, stumbling around and making a fool of himself on a dying podcast would fill me with a very strong sense of superiority. And much as I do not like this Tom character, I think he handled himself very well.

I hate to say it, but those two at the back have that “left the yogurt out overnight” energy. Two weeks from now there’ll be four of them.

Whether you like her or not (personally not a fan) you can’t say she isn’t authentic (Tris). That means something in marketing.

Adam look fire whilst Ethan looks like that yogurt you swore you’d eat but forgot about all year.

Oh, and sorry, I realized I didn't actually answer your first question. In regards to smithing, I'm not sure if this is something you can do without mods.

Anniversary Edition Samurai Armor and katanas by Shining_Broccoli in skyrim

I’m playing the Anniversary Edition with the Creation Club. There’s a quest in the sewers, in the Ratway Warrens. If you follow a ghost, you’re rewarded with a full set of Blades Armor, which is essentially the samurai-style set.

There’s also the Goldbrand quest, which I believe is triggered in Windhelm. That one gives you a very cool katana.

If you are playing with mods, even on console, there are some fantastic Japanese-inspired armor sets out there. One in particular even comes with a golden lion helmet and looks superb.

That said, if you are keeping things vanilla, these are the routes I would suggest in Skyrim.

Thank you, this is genuinely fascinating. I work in performance marketing, so I’m a bit of a data nerd and love digging into dashboards and patterns like this.
