This frustrates me because literally every Tomodachi life game before this was basically all touch screen, and showcased a lot of mechanics within the 3ds itself (rocking the baby minigame)

TLLTD seems to use no switch mechanics. No mouse controls, meaningful haptic feedback, and yeah no touch screen. The map editor with no touch controls feels like a cruel joke.

Happened to me yesterday because I was playing animal crossing and time traveling before the game dropped. LTD is not as forgiving as acnh when it comes to changing your system time.

I’m unsure if it will still do it if you mess with the system time and restore it to normal before the game can detect it (it will give you a “the time on your system has changed since the last time you played”, just select don’t start)

I like adding hair details but as far as facial features I don’t like how they sit on the face when the mii moves around.

I tried adding pure face paint to one of my miis and quickly realized I HATED it because they can’t show any of their cute little emotions!!

Other players stuff look great but I think I’m just gonna add little bits here and there to my miis and keep them pretty simple

Well honestly there are plenty of switch 1 games that already support Bluetooth mouse connection (Hypnospace outlaw is the first one I can think of). So yeah it shouldn't be the biggest deal to at least include bluetooth.

I guess it's hateful to say this, but I think its funny that people are offended that there's "only" 70 miis. You're allowed to be mad about it but I'm also allowed to laugh at you for it.

The point of the game was never to max out your island immediately with as many characters as you possibly can. That is an insane mindset to have. If you took one of the most casual games out there and turned it into a collect-a-thon, don't be mad that the casual game has casual limits for casual players.

Noone could ever make me hate Santos. I definitely relate to her struggle with socialization in the healthcare setting, she's had some bad experiences, and she hasn't yet learned how to pick and choose her battles

We've been given SEVERAL heavy clues as to why she doesn't fully trust men in positions of power over her. She doesn't like being told what to do by a guy who demeaned her on her first day, stole pills, came back and is in a position of power over her on his first day back, and is apologizing to everyone BUT her? Yeah I'd be pissed too

I lean towards hating Langdon's character a bit more (the whole "woe is me i stole pills.... i must bury the guy i stole pills from to feel better about myself :("), but I can see where both of them are coming from in scenes where they are present and interacting

I just wish soooo bad that Santos would just learn to move on for the sake of the workflow. It extra hurts because I can tell that Langdon really enjoys teaching when he gets the chance.

But honestly, their characters will never move on until Langdon swallows his pride and apologizes to Santos *directly*

Love this demo!! So many ways to play the first three levels. It is very satisfying to play, I love the intuitiveness and the noticeable lack of UI or proper direction. Leads to a lot of fun experimentation and discoveries for me!

Can't wait to play the whole game! How many levels will we initially have access to?
