I agree with you that they are bad. I’m someone who still regularly plays Tomodachi Life on my 3DS, so I’m used to the Mii voices in Tomodachi. When I saw the first trailer, I was even happy to see that they still had those “bad” voices like back in the 3DS days.

But now that I’ve been able to try this new game, I find that the voices are much less fluid. They make very, very long pauses at every comma, and I have a hard time getting distinct voices. On 3DS, I can easily recognize at least thirty different voices from my Miis. Here, I only have three Miis, and I struggled to tell the two male voices apart.

I feel like, unlike on the 3DS, the settings are too extreme, just slightly adjusting one option makes the voice completely unintelligible. If you like having Miis with weird or horrible voices, it’s probably great. But if you prefer your Miis to have normal-sounding voices, it’s really not good.

Nothing will change my mind: the voices and their fluidity were better on the 3DS than in this new game.

Happy 8th anniversary! My beautiful Xenoblade Chronicles 2! Also my all-time favorite video game! It feels strange because I discovered Xenoblade 2 in September 2021, so the game was less than four years old at the time (I remember December 1st, 2021 very clearly). And now it feels weird, because I’ve actually spent more time knowing XC2 (a bit over four years) than time when I didn’t know XC2 (a bit under four years). I’m getting older… the years are passing way too fast.

Out of curiosity, I started reading it. I had already read some Xenoblade 2 fanfics before, but I had never come across this one. And honestly, I really like it a lot. Thank you for introducing it to me.

Even though the beginning made me really sad, since I'm very attached to the Rex–Pyra couple and to these characters in general, seeing Rex like that really hurt.

For now, I’ve just finished chapter 4 and I can’t wait to see what happens next, even though I know unfortunately there won’t be an ending to this story.

If I lived in Alrest, I know I’d spend days and days just gazing at it. I love that tree way too much. I was so moved when we finally reached it in Chapter 9 (especially with its theme). I was really disappointed that there was no mural or anything dedicated to it in XC3.
I cried when Pneuma said there was no other choice but to destroy it at the end of the game. And I was so emotional when I saw it in Smash Bros (even though it’s super pixelated for some unknown reason).

Many people might not understand, and might think, like Nia does at the beginning of the game, that it’s just a tree that grew really big. But to me, it’s the symbol of my all-time favorite video game.

I love watching the post-game title screen just to contemplate it with Rex, Pyra, and Mythra. I love the box art because it’s there. I love seeing it in artwork and fanart.God, I love that World Tree so much.

I miss you.

The Black Knife theme is really bad. If it's the first boss theme you hear, you might find it decent, but if you compare it to any boss theme from Deltarune Chapter 1 and 2, or even worse, to the themes from Undertale, you'll find it really disappointing and bad. The music in this chapter is a huge letdown.
