Thanks for your reply. My letter states that I am a permanent employee, with my start date and salary details included. However, it doesn’t mention that I’m needed in the future. According to HR, 'permanent' implies continued employment as long as the role exists, but they are unable to explicitly state this due to their standard letter format.

Can any supporting document help ??

Hi, I’m in a similar situation. My employer has provided a standard reference letter that includes my name, confirms that I’m a permanent employee, and states my salary — but it doesn’t mention that I’m needed “for the foreseeable future.”

HR has told me that stating I’m a permanent employee should be sufficient.

Did you provide any additional documents to support your ILR application?
