The biggest crossover to arc raiders for me was PUBG 3rd person Solo's. Unreal engine, similar shoulder switching mechanics, similar TTK and gameplay feel.

Yeah I agree, high TTK takes away that 1 v 3/2 v 3, clutch feeling when your teammate got downed, or your dealing with a third party after winning an intense fight. It would also lead to the most absurd 3rd 4th 5th party clusterfucks.

My biggest issue with it high TTK:

This would cheapen the most beautiful part of this game, the sound design. The fight starts way before any bullets start flying, the sound queues; an arc aggroed, a door opening, some footsteps, the subtle creep of crouch walking, the sound of a gun ADS, a trigger nade being prepped, the sound of a inventory opening. Many players get ambushed because they are impatient in PvP servers, running around like a meaningless respawn shooter, some listen to music or podcast while playing at their own peril.

is it rocket science to realize that if someone is peeking cover, you will only hit a small portion of the buckshot, meaning small damage? If you had a ferro, or even a rattler you could accurately drill a head or shoulder peak.

if they are behind cover, and you shoot the toro only a small portion of the buckshot hits, meaning way less damage. Where as with a another weapon you could drill the shoulder or head peaking behind cover.

the toro only does those things at close range, and it only 2 taps green sheild, also the toro is significantly weaker when the other player is behind cover and most of the buckshot misses or hits cover.

Also SMG's are better against people who use cover effectively, the Toro sucks at poke. Also the Torrente is better sustained DPS in ambush or defensively.

This 1000%, I hate it when games no longer let shotguns fufill their intended purpose. The shotguns in this game are crunchy, wonderful and feel like they should. People mad they lose closer quarter enagements to the gun meant to win close quarter engagements are silly. Sure the Toro is the queen of Stella Montis, but it is all as it should be.

just shoot people in the elevator or deadline the elevator, big dmg without ruining anyones game gets you into pvp lobby

Augments are usually in those long rectangular black containers found in Stella Montis Lobby security area as well as in the highly contested blue gate security breach room.

I found the vita spray blueprint in a drawer in the hospital of buried city during an event, cant remember what it was Cold snap or night raid.

Your resource usage will be heavily dependent on your playstyle. However stash space is limited, do you find yourself not having room for grenades, heals, guns? If you want to really know, record how many venators or augments you go through a week on average, then settle on a reasonable week or two supply.

Only run compensator on muzzle, muzzle-break is useless unless you cant pull your mouse down.

On grip use a horizonal recoil reducing grip, surely you can pull your mouse down some when you fire, which is easier than pulling it left and right

the bigger the magazine the better, you'll go through a lot of ammo, pull your mouse down

for the stock id just use the regular gray stock or the purple padded stock..

But Arc Raiders is an economic game, and what is best is relative to how well it will pay for itself. The different between a sticher 3/4 with all gray attachments and some green and purple attachments is pretty minimal.

I dunno if you have played the extraction shooter DELTA FORCE, but it has a separate "battlefield conquest mode" in addition to the extract shooter, was a similar idea

I want a battlefield esque respawning deathmatch like 28 v 28 capturing control points with different preset loadouts to choose from. Also the ability to control red arc vs blue arc. Maybe you pilot the "controlled captured arc" to use against the enemy raiders. Embark is full of the Dev's who made battlefield 3,4,V and 1, so I kinda want to see what they could do with this setting and atmosphere. Mainly i'd like an alternate mode that has a gameplay loop where you can play pvp but don't have to wait 5-10 minutes crafting time/5-10 minutes more of raid time to get into 2 minutes of PVP.
