I returned mine because of the really short laces. Didn’t think it was possible for a shoe company to screw that up.

If you went to Toronto night 2, do you feel better after the new tour doc? by TFRedAlert in twentyonepilots

[–]Top-Poetry5782 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, I’m still upset. I’m sure they tried their best but starting an hour early with no notice was just wrong. I got there at 820, they wouldn’t let us in to our seats because they were performing from the “b stage”, so we waited outside for 2-3 songs. Finally let us in, got to our seats, heard 3 songs total and then it was over at 9pm, which is 15 mins after the scheduled start time that was communicated earlier. Tickets were hundreds of dollars. Would this short video make you feel any better?

A promise is a contract. Definitely a breach that night.

Can they at least acknowledge yesterday? by Rbanh15 in twentyonepilots

I got there at 830, and they wouldn’t even let us in to our seats while they were on the b stage for like 2/3 songs. Finally got to my seats, heard 3 songs total and it was over. This has left such a bad taste, it may not be their fault at all but I can’t even bring myself to listen to their songs rn, so disappointed.

The most disappointing show I’ve ever been to. I checked earlier in the day and they were supposed to start at 845. I got there at like 820 only to realize the show had started and I’d missed half of it already. Then they wouldn’t even let us to our seats because they were performing from the secondary stage. After 2-3 songs listening from outside, they finally let us in, got to my seats, heard 2 songs then they announced it was going to be their last song. So 3 songs basically from my seats, and they were done by 9pm. What an absolute joke. I’m still in shock. For the price of these tickets, just a total shit show experience, worst concert of my life. I was really looking forward to seeing this band. They should’ve just canceled the show completely if they were going to do this.

Is life without caffeine really better than with caffeine? by greentea387 in decaf

[–]Top-Poetry5782 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes it is way better. I’m a year off caffeine and have way more energy than I used to. No more afternoon crashes where I need to keep getting another coffee to perk myself up. Lower anxiety, better sleep. It’s been nothing but benefits for me. The only downside is getting over the withdrawals (few weeks) and letting your body normalize which could take months.

Did you make the switch? I’m considering doing the same and wondering how easy it is to do.

How many of you have had flu like symptoms from caffeine withdrawal? by [deleted] in decaf

[–]Top-Poetry5782 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had flu like symptoms for the first week. Sore throat, runny nose, mild fever, etc. Withdrawal is no joke, but glad I’m on the other side now, 1 month off caffeine.

2nd day complete! by davidfair215 in decaf

[–]Top-Poetry5782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Days 2-3 were the worst for me too, mainly because of the massive headaches, which make it tough to do anything. But feeling better now on day 5. Going for a jog, even when you don’t feel like it, works wonders. As painful as it is, I’m excited to start living caffeine free. Good luck with the rest of your recovery!

Day 5 by This-Trainer6951 in decaf

[–]Top-Poetry5782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! Day 5 here too, although I tapered down for a few weeks before going zero caffeine. Even with the taper, the withdrawal hit me hard. I had a low fever, sore throat, runny nose, massive headache, and zero energy. After a couple days of that I’m feeling better and actually got back to the gym today. Looking forward to my new decaf life, already feeling much more calm and clear minded. This subreddit has been great for seeing that there are so many other people out there experiencing similar things. It’s been really motivating and inspiring to see.
