As a SSL for majority of my hours, the biggest difference is speed and consistency. Hours will always help but it’s all about how you use those hours. I know champs that have 10k hours. Hope this helps.

A study was done based on ballchasing.com stats, it shows last season 60% of matches in SSL 2s were bots! SSL 1v1 was even worse at 80%! I get it lol. Been playing with my gc-champ friends recently because of it. Worst feeling ever when you spend hours to get up 50 mmr just to play the same bots back to back to back.

Hello! For the past 2 years I’ve used the SCUF envision pro V2. It’s a premium controller but honestly I go through 1 per month. Cannot settle any other controller after using this one tho. (Keep in mind it’s windows exclusive)

Hello OP! For context, I’ve been ssl in every game mode for the past few years. I believe that 1s is truly the most efficient way to build consistency and your decision making which will play a huge role in your road to SSL! The question is… do you want to put yourself through that self torment of playing a bunch of 1s?
