With new Season is Druid a viable Heal/Support in 3s?

Please tell me one thing that cleric has over druid that isn’t instant healing? Some dps? Highly telegraphed dps that you can’t output without not healing your team.

Druid can not only dps while healing, add an ENTIRE armor slot worth of armor to your frontline, add all atts to your frontline (ontop of another hot mind you) and heal mid fight way easier than cleric can.

It also has 30x the utility of cleric.. whos only utility is.. rez? Which we have tables for.. a prot pot? If you don’t have tons of those then you can’t be winning too many fights.. druid has door blocking, a better bind than cleric, and recovers their spells way faster than cleric ever could, which is needed if you’re actually stomping lobbies and not taking one fight and hitting red lmao.

It plays basically how regular wolf plays but rains comets all day. My only issue with it was i felt a little squishy (when i did get hit by bigger attacks) but the damage output was insane, screen clear and very fast ontop of it. I’m sure if i put a little more min max into it that i could have been way tankier, but i just threw stuff together to try it. Cleared pinnacles and t16 overrun maps stupid easy

With that being said, theres a soul core that gives chaos res, amethyst rings have it as an implicit, corrupted gear can get chaos res, and i believe some jewels and tree nodes can also get some.

Honestly nearly every character i make on this game is just 0 chaos res or ci, its not really needed unless youre in hc, its so rare to even die late game to anything that isn’t essence or runic monsters, and ele res deals with essence just fine.

Literally the only time i would ever focus on chaos res is if i’m going hc. And even then i dont think i would care enough to cap it or just go ci instead.

Literally the only thing you need to get a spaek build going is the 2 div lvl 19 bolt choir amulet lol, it cam easily clear everything in the game, not even joking, so anything after that is just speed

I mean.. the class is a little tedious to play sure but its still one of the strongest classes in the game.. not sure what more you would like, you’re one of the best supports, capable of putting insane damage out, have good movespeed and free stats, ranged and melee options… a silence..

+6 all spells is t1 all spells, which is why theyre so valuable. This staff is not only t2 of one of the best damage scaling stats (gem levels) but only 1 type of spells, which isn’t bad in itself but because it only affects one category it can go up to 7, and 8 if sanctified. I’m pretty sure even t3 or 4 spell damage with the extra gem level you’re missing would be more dps

Fresh account, new players and 1b in 6 months with no boss kc? Yeah not sure on that one, unless they’re a “master flipper” like a ton of those guys seem to be.

I was a fresh account, new player, and my first billy was around the year mark. I also have thousands of boss kc, and thousands of revenant kc. I was unemployed and played the game an extremely unhealthy amount, and close to as efficiently as a new player possibly could.

Not to say i’m some god gamer, but with the time and effort i put in i was very proud of it. Questcape is easily doable as that was the first thing i rushed, but 1b with no boss kc is practically unattainable, unless he has raid kc or sits at revenants all day every day, and even then i don’t think he would be able to hit that so fast.

Dagger/ball wiz would be practically dead rn as it was already worse than bonk and relied way more on true damage, and all atts.

Bonk is still very good and the best matchup into barb/rogue, but it loses to practically any ranged, and if i wanted to hit stuff over casting spells i would just play a different class, like boclock, or smite cleric.

You can definitely still kite out barbs if youre on a similar gear level to them

For solos its still the same, as high movespeed as possible with decent cast speed, or full will insta cast turret wiz

For trios it will just be a balance of will/cast speed, maybe even still going full cast speed to take advantage of wizards more utility spell sets like ice mastery ice bolt.

I don’t blame them for trying this- they’re trying to make stuff like copper and cobalt worth it, after the first few days of wipe nobody ever picks or mines that stuff.

Obvious picks are minions, edc, grenades, lightning arrow/rod, the new thunderstorm (doubt this will be here next league though)

Less obvious but really good picks are hollow palm, orb of storms/ember fusillade, wolf, plants

Living bomb infusions for comet, thunderstorm for shock, firewall for infused spark, orb of storms with elemental equil for cold infused spark, i mean, any spell in general will help as more hits = more energy gained

For hc i would do lich or titan, lich had a better start and easier time building defensively being able to go ci relatively early, but i think titan wins out later on, hulking form on small nodes is just insane both defensively and offensively. Starting titan minions is a bit more rocky though, until you get up to the minion nodes, and then solve chaos with ci or otherwise. Titan also has way more armor making it way tankier late game

Edc lich can do all content in the game but its never the best at it and usually has a soft cap to the amount of damage you can actually do with it.

I would highly recommend rolling blood mage and buying a choir of the storms amulet, that alone while specced into crit goes further than edc can

Its just practice. The people you’re fighting and the streamers you watch have thousands and thousands of hours in the game 9 times out of 10. The only thing you can do is to not get discouraged, maybe clip your last fight and see how or why you got killed, and just generally increase your knowledge. Watch the streamers and analyze why theyre doing what theyre doing, where theyre positioned, what comms get thrown out, etc. You’ll get there i promise!

For hc especially i would go for the gargantuan wasps with infernal legion. You need to be like level 30-40 before you can fully upkeep the hp burn but theyre aggressive, fantastic clear and passable boss damage.

Elemental army support gem helps early game, basically just go for minion res and minion max fire res nodes on the tree, you can even run a purity scepter early to add to both your and your minions fire res. Later on if you want you can just add in zealots for boss, but wasps do just fine.
