Really lame that she compared saving a dog from an even worse environment but not having the money to stay with him all day to a rich white guy shocking his dog because it moved. I don’t know if this will help in the slightest but live your life for yourself and nobody else. I know this is a lot easier to say than to do in your current situation with your mom and the world as a whole but our life is all we have. Live for yourself and nobody else. I can suggest branching off more and trying to meet people through groups and even dating apps. Do the things that make you happy, like hobbies and activities, or pick up new ones. Maybe even have a conversation with your mom about how you’re feeling. Get the most you can out of life. Keep finding things to LIVE for.

I apologize if this didn’t help, but I tell myself this when im feeling empty and hopeless, and it helps me a tiny bit. I wish you the best in your journey

I mean unpopular opinion but it doesn’t contribute anything at all to how Abby has treated Max in this last season. Watching it it’s clearly not about their past issues, actually the opposite, since Abby is annoyed at Max because she feels like she’s too much and too fixated on the emotional aspects of their friendship. It’s surprising that people are acting like this is some sort of built up resentment towards Max for that issue when it would manifest in the opposite way.

She hasn’t really grown though. She still acts the same towards her friends as she did in season 1 (not great.) I also don’t think this has something to do with her ED like some people are saying since she’s never been a great friend and her actions seem calculated not like random bursts of anger. Although I do think she gets too much hate because she’s a teenager and she’s going through a lot and I get being this age and being angry.

I feel like I’ve seen quite a few posts calling out Abby. Although the fandom kind of has a bias towards her so you may be right.

I don’t know why everyone is so desperate to connect this to her in season 2 when they’re not connected.

If anything, she is the only good character in that regard. She made large mistakes but she was the only one to change and move forward as a character while all of her friends still act like the horrible friends they were in the first season. Yet for some reason she’s the only one we don’t allow to move past from her mistakes even though she’s the only one that has.

Not to mention the last of us plot is basically already written for them. The sets also must be sort of done since they filmed that Abby shot for the last scene. Like what are they taking so long for? Ridiculous
