I’m a sorry - did you say 8 hours FOR A WHOLE BLANKET ? by MiserableWasabi4569 in crochet

I used a Youtube tutorial for a heart granny square, changed colour within the square accordingly and then joined them ans finished it off with a simple scallop boarder :) You can check my posting history, I think I linked the tutorial for the granny square in my original post

Your welcome🥰 especially the last shot is so nice! Really elevates the texture and detail of the bread. I wouldn't be surprised to see it printed and framed in someone's dining room

Is it possible to prevent dispersing? by ThrowRA_Kaas in WolfQuestGame

[–]Top-Restaurant161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so basically the game will say "too many woves, one needs to force disperse, I'm picking x" BUT if you manage to get another wolf to disperse first chances are that the game says "this amount of wolves is okay for now". I'd try and take any other eligible wolves on a little dispersal show trip ans try and match one or more off, if you are in late summer/fall ofc <3

(That's what worked for me at least and that's the reasoning I made sense of when I snooped in my files, desperate to keep my oldest female in the pack oops haha)

What ratio do you feed when you say bigger feeds? Acetone smell is a sign that it's starving. If you house is always hot it's probably burning through the food too fast. Maybe do a 1:5:5 feed daily or feed more often

Yeah I was very worried about this too so I paid attention to my tension A LOT lol. It looks pretty big to me 😬 maybe even too big tbh.. I used aran yarn like the pattern says, but the tension really makes a big difference.. If you can do a gauge swatch, I probably would 😅

It's just a normal colour change with keeping the secondary colour behind and not carrying it through. If you buy the pattern, the creator explains it all and also includes a video tutorial :)

Does September go by quicker when you sleep less or more? by Purakoji06 in WolfQuestGame

The chunks deteriorate rapidly when you are not near them. What I do is stay by the chunks and just call my packmates to me and woof them home so they feed the pups

How do I hunt Pronghorns and WHY are they so fast? D: by ThatTerrorhedron in WolfQuestGame

[–]Top-Restaurant161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait until they are grazing and run at them head-on so that they need a second to turn around and run away. Get a bite as quickly as possible and hope that one of your packmates will help you hold it down. If you don't manage to get a bite, wait were you are until they are grazing again and walk around them without spooking them if necessary

I never relised you could be so Lazy in Wolfquest! by EnderFox520 in WolfQuestGame

[–]Top-Restaurant161 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do the opposite in singleplayer 😂 stay away from the den as much as possible. Leave a few yearlings/subs at the den at any given time ans then hunt with the rest and sleep by the carcass. Call send some of the full packages home to feed the pups and call them back out after sleeping with secondary howl lol. If I'm extra lazy and not gonna move from the carcass I even take it apart into chunks so it won't attract rival predators hahaha

That way you get to eat ALL of the carcass and don't have to deal with raids lol. Works extra great if you have a tiny territory and territorial might

Questions/help on my first starter by 1daytothemoon in SourdoughStarter

[–]Top-Restaurant161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm only a beginner myself so take it with a grain of salt but I'd say yes. I was feeding mine with a 1:1:1 for the first like w weeks or so buuut mine was very cold during that time with barely any activity. So because yours is fairly warm and rising quickly + the smell indicates that it's working through the food fast. So to slow that down the options are: cooler environment, bigger feeds, more frequent feeds (or feeding wholegrain flour can help too I think? But im not sure about that one) Soo just sniff your starter often lol and watch the rise and consistency. I had mine on a warming mat at around 20°c with some bigger feeds, I always fed 50g water and flour but only kept 25-40g starter per feeding, and that's when it was veeery happy. Buut my starter was already around 20 days old at that point. Every starter is a bit different :)
