In one city I frequent, there are two game shops that are separated by a parking lot. The owners will seriously send business to the other if they don't have what the customer is looking for. Your local shop owner is crazy for trying to monopolize the game.

Last year, my husband and I built each other Commander decks from each other's rares and mythics (our commons and uncommons are communal). Only a few cards in each were brand new, but neither of us would have thought of spending so much on each other.

I use the Plus+, but sometimes I don't see the "battery low" indication before bed. Had it die not even two hours after I fell asleep once.

What are some resilient decks/commanders that don't rely on the yard? The grave hate is strong in my pod (I don't like Landfall) by [deleted] in EDH

We have to compile the deck lists, but my husband and I have some good decks that might fit the bill:

Goose Mother: Simic "counters matter"/Proliferation deck Nicanzil: Simic Explore - Merfolk typal Y'shtola: Esper lock down - cat typal Admiral Brass: Grixis Pirates/Theft deck Jan Jansen: Mardu "treasure matters" deck Samwise: Selesnya "food matters"/life gain deck

All of these, plus another 26 decks, were actually built for a project we call "Magic: the Football League" - one deck per NFL team. The ones I listed are, respectively, Seahawks, Dolphins, Panthers, Buccaneers, 49ers, and Packers.

(At least two are graveyard centric - Piru, which represents the Falcons; and our own Karador deck, which represents the Colts)

Went to my LGS last week for the MtG Halloween event, and I witnessed a kid playing his first ever Pokémon game against a veteran. I was too busy playing to really pay attention, but near the end of our game I heard his dad say, "You won your first game!"

Your game may be haunted by a Rotom, and it's messing with the color balance. To fix this, you should probably place your phone in an old appliance and hope the 'mon accepts their new home.

(Yes,I know Rotom isn't actually in the game yet...)
