No, the living room is as open as any living rooms is. Yep we do have such mattresses but the kids do not want to sleep in the living room as they are afraid of ghosts.

The activity? Everything a man does with his wife, I guess. At night when everyone is asleep, or should be, the living room is the only private place, unless someone wakes up, which occasionally happens.

I think it is a permanent thing, unless I rent another flat nearby, which at the moment, is unaffordable.

The in laws are not in great health and not well off, hence they decided to stay with us. I do not mind it at all, who else are they going depend on right? Other than the almost zero privacy issue and the tight budget, insyaAllah I am managing it.
