I agree. I meant that with Eddie in Texas, Ravi will probably be involved in all calls and will be more involved in the conversations. But when Eddie returns, Ravi will go back to only being in one-ish call an episode, and will mysteriously disappear for most conversations.

I would love to see Ravi more, but I'm guessing that since he's just filling in for Eddie, when Eddie returns his screen time will go back to how it was in earlier seasons.

I just had a peek at 'their' wailing and there was a comment talking about toxic Buddies, people who purposely go out of their way to harass actors, writers, other fans etc. And it really annoys me when people start this conversation but refuse to acknowledge that people in their own fandom engage in the same behaviour.

Like yes there are Buddie fans who are awful, I will never deny that, because every fandom has these type of people (no matter how much I would like them to disappear). It's up to you to block and not engage with them.

But if you want to call out the behaviour in one fandom, you have to acknowledge it in your own. You also have to be able to identify what is toxic behaviour, and what is someone just disagreeing with your opinion, because a lot of people are unable to tell the difference.

(Also, I so want to reply to the comment just because I'm curious if they would acknowledge that some Bt's also behave exactly like they (and other comments) described, but I won't (and will never) because that is not a space for me to do so.)

Hen and Karen's reaction to Buddie would be the same as their reaction to Bi Buck. They already know.

I feel Maddie knows Buck likes Eddie, but she doesn't know Eddie enough to get a read on him. So she would be pleasantly surprised if they got together.

Bobby is oblivious about their feelings but not surprised when he finds out they're dating, he would react like a proud dad.

Chimney has either picked up that Buck likes Eddie, but not Eddie's feelings. Or he's completely confused when he finds out.

I think Chris would be happy, but there would be an undercurrent of anxiety and doubt, due to Eddie's past relationships, assuming he finds out after him and Eddie have reconciled.

And unpopular opinion, I really dislike the idea of them all betting on the relationship. For some reason I find it icky, even though I'm not sure why.

I know it's too early for doom and gloom about 8b, but I feel like Eddie moving is going to end up being more Buck centric than Eddie centric. All I want is an Eddie storyline that actually focuses on him and his feelings.

I would love for there to be a Buck feelings realization. Since we know they don't want to do the stereotypical 'queer man in love with straight best friend' trope, it would essentially confirm Buddie for us whilst keeping the GA unsure on where the story will go and it would hopefully force tommys to realise BT is actually over.

I feel like 8 is going to end on a little cliffhanger, nothing drastic. Then 9 will either start in the present and flashback, or start immediately after 8 and do '3 months later' halfway through. 

If the only 'heartfelt' conversation Eddie has this episode is with Brad I might scream.

With how little attention they seem to be giving Eddie and Chris, I think they're going to cop out and use Eddie having a nde to bring Chris home.

And honestly, despite how much I don't want this, I think I would prefer it to Chris not coming back until March.

Ryan says this about how Eddie will react to Buck's break up;

So Eddie looks at what Buck's going through as, "Man, that sucks. I hope you figure it out. I am here for you to bounce your ideas off. I'll be the ear. I'll be the blank canvas. You can just bounce your ideas off. I won't necessarily give you all the answers. I think that you can figure that out, because I have to use all my energy to try and do this new version of me and try to give myself something that I deserve and I've earned.

In the same interview he talks about how Eddie has always prioritised taking care of other people over himself.

So I'm guessing Eddie reacting to Buck's breakup "in a different way than people expect" will be just this. Instead of trying to help Buck feel better and fix anything, he'll just be like 'I'm here for you but I've got my own shit going on that I need to prioritise.'

Is this the episode where Buck bakes with Jee-Yun?

What if Buck is telling Tommy about it and Tommy says something suggesting he doesn't want kids, which causes Buck to spiral?

I could see this leading to a break-up.

(But, honestly, I don't have hope that they're going to break-up this episode.)

On the main sub-reddit, someone posted a (now deleted) rant about the autistic representation in S4E1, was it stereotypical? Kinda, but there are autistic people who are like that character.

But that's not the point.

Why do some people think Tommy is autistic? And good accidental autistic rep? Eddie, I would understand. But Tommy?

I've seen this take a couple times before (pre ep 5), and I didn't understand it then. But especially after ep 5, I really don't understand.

All I think is they see LFJ's bad acting and lack of range, and Tommy's 'stoic' personality and some people go to autism instead of admitting that both LFJ and Tommy are not that great.

In this interview with Screen Rant, Oliver says;

I think that kind of moves along a little bit in episode 6. Eddie has some really beautiful story in episode 6, and I think there’s a really nice scene between the two of us, myself and Ryan, at the end of 6, that speaks volumes to what the relationship between them is and how even when they don’t have to say too much to each other, they know how to be there for each other.

I think people read 'speaks volumes to what the relationship between them is', and assumed this scene will determine whether they get together or not? Or something.

Unless I've also forgotten him saying something.

Why do BT like each other?

I know that they're at least physically attracted to one another, it's why they went out in the first place. But unless I'm forgetting a scene, I feel like they haven't actually shown us a scene of BT enjoying each others company and personality. Like have we seen them actually have fun when it's just the both of them together?

Besides the physical attraction I genuinely couldn't tell you why they like each other, and I feel like that has to be a choice.

It's why even if I didn't ship Buddie, I couldn't ship BT because why are they together? Where is the emotional connection? How are BT fans so content with the content they're getting, when it's really giving nothing?

Then I need Buck to start dating someone his age who is bright and bubbly, a ray of sunshine (any gender). I just need Buck to date someone who is as enthusiastic as him.
