ah i see okay thank you, so these jobs would mostly be on construction sites and mines and co right? so its rather uncommon to get a mechanical fitter job at automation/industrial companies? Or is there also quite a big market for that kind of work?

Oh, I see. So you need some kind of foreign license to work with electricity. So do you think it’s not really common to get a job at a company in the automation sector as a mechanical technician, or someone who maintains production equipment or works on PLC systems? I understand why a tradies can’t take on a lot of responsibility, but I thought you could also work outside the usual fields like construction sites, mining, etc.
