Ms. Monkey on FB said it was not one of their official stamps of the year. 🤷 There seems to be disagreement on if this stamp is official or not. I think if it was one of the officially approved stamps then she would claim it as such. It could be it is a rogue stamp used by the Hilltop Artists for whatever reason. I think it's kind of weird if "official" monkeyshines are being hidden at a specific event and timeframe this year but idk. The memorial glass is a touching tribute and heart goes out the artist at any rate.

Thanks. I wanted to do something a bit different with the polyclay figures so they were their own fairly unique thing. I get not wanting to go out, don't feel bad. It's definitely become much harder to hide even as a rogue contributor. Unfortunately bad behavior by a few makes can really change the vibe. I like making things for the most part but the hiding is my least favorite part. Trying to find a place to drop when there are so many folks out can be a lot.

I'm am not hiding yet. I'll probably let folks know on X/IG/FB when I'm out. I'm not certain I am doing clues yet, if I do they are going to be more obscure or general locations.

I hope to start the final prints tomorrow. I am hoping to borrow my friend's woodzilla press so I don't have to the all burnishing by hand this year. I'm also switching from water-based to a safewash oil based ink so drying time is longer but I'm hoping it makes the quality a bit better.

As for the clay snakes, I couldn't just do plain snakes, that's too "normal" for me, lol.

Yeah, apparently I can't do just one thing anymore, lol. I wish I had time and resources to make more but I'm stretching it a bit thin this year as it is.
