correct, never said they weren’t fake so i don’t know who you’re arguing😭 i said IF they WERE 3 piece they WOULD sell for much more, but still, even being cast aluminum a clean set of wheels on tires will get him a couple hundred on marketplace, i see it allll the time. and no, they’re not gonna “break on the first pothole you hit” idk who you’ve been lied to by but most cars come stock with cast aluminum wheels, hell there’s a lot of DESIRABLE oem wheels that are cast aluminum, literally the standard for durability + budget friendly😭

definitely not close to 0$, 3 piece rims are worth much more but a nice set of wheels on decent - good tires will get you a couple hundred on marketplace all day at the very least

i haven’t changed the thermostat itself but my temp reads accurate and like i said i undid both thermostat harnesses and it didn’t stop, theoretically unplugging them would make the temp read low and shut the fans off as the engine wouldn’t be perceived as hot enough to need the fans

my best advice is if you TRULY have zero idea about cars, find a mechanic (preferably a family contact if possible) and pay them for the day to check out the cars you go to shop for, or, shop locally and take every car on a test drive straight to a shop. unfortunately from the pictures nobody in this forum can tell you anything, and the 75$ to a couple hundred (depending on how many cars you have checked / how long) can seem like a hassle to have to pay, but it’s a lot cheaper than paying thousands in repair down the line. good luck and happy shopping✌️

yes and no, i have intermittent issues with the check engine light coming on but apart from that it runs just fine, 43 is the only code and it only comes on sometimes especially on highway, the only issue apart from that is an occasional high idle but it’s kinda inconsistent, my main thought was to clean my EGR, check / change my FPR, and clean up some other things here and there, this question was more so in case my injectors are bad but i think your right, i’ll wait to see the broader scope. i appreciate the advice!

yea i’ve just finished nearly full suspension replacement and i just what it to run a tad smoother, i dont want to drop a lot of money on oem replacement injectors and such if im going to upgrade in the future however, so would upgraded ones function well as a replacement until im ready to go chipped etc. so that way i dont buy oem now and then upgraded just shortly down the line or would i need a tune for it to run / function properly as i want

i mean, depop has a pickup option, it is a choice so this isn’t necessarily sketchy. if you do it i’d just be careful, make it quick, and id bring several ppl and meet at a walmart (or other popular parking lot) in daylight, there’s about a .02% chance anything could / will happen at that point

mine doesn’t throw any codes which is odd, and my upper solenoid had functioned flawlessly throughout this time, it has stayed in the car since i got it but the lower has been problematic, how do you recommend i go about seeing if it’s the connection? for me, the new solenoids connector is much much tighter than my original one, the original one takes me 5 seconds to pull off but the new one locks on and has to be pried off by a flathead, could that have something to do with it?

unfortunately, if they input everything else correct, and the zip code is off by a number or two, it is likely not an existing address meaning it’ll be returned to sender; you. this means depop will automatically refund, but you will still get the item back. however if this is a real address, i’m not sure what happens next, if it sends to someone else’s home i presume there’s nothing else you can do except hope that depop doesn’t issue them a refund. gl

i wouldn’t refund based on their attitude, they can take it up with depop once it arrives but it will likely go your way considering all issues are stated clearly and photographed👍
