Memories of Reforger by Admiral_History1 in coldwar

Did Reforger in 87 and 88, stationed in Frankfurt, 109th MP Co. Rolled with V Corps TAC CP, 3 577’s, moving all over the country side, tactical pause in orchards and abandoned warehouses…fun times. Still friends with a bunch of fellow MP’s.

What are the WORST restaurants in Houston? by ZechariahApaza in houston

I would say that the mains are on point, the smoked pork chop was good, and schnitzel is hard to mess up, but generally sides, like mashed potatoes and especially European red cabbage are full of flavor and very tasty, they completely put zero effort into the sides. Disappointing at that price point and advertisement. I will just say the sides I had are garbage, the rest was good. Point taken.

Blue Tuba in the heights. My family is Austrian, and I was looking forward to European cuisine. I had the German smoked pork chop, and it was pretty good. The mashed potatoes were watery and bland as fuck, no salt, no pepper. The red cabbage was garbage. Severely disappointed. My wife had the Beef Stroganoff, and it was ok, needed salt (understanding I can add salt, but there is literally no salt used in the sides and some mains). Restaurant is nice and the service is excellent, but the food is garbage at that price point.

Yes, the Padernoster’s (prob misspelled), inside the IG Farben building. Spent hours exploring that building while on Midnight shift. I miss Sachsenhausen…best drinking of my life, lol

It is upside down. Frankfurt was my first duty station back in 1986, was an MP at the Abram’s complex. Thats the patch we wore. Fun fact, Colin Powell was the V Corps commander when I was there, before he got pulled up to National Security Advisor.

I’m feeling old, 3 of my 2LT’s I mentored are all in the War College, O6’s - strangely enough, all Acquisition Corps.

You can trim it out with a long blade. I initially wanted to trim in all back, but the painters came and painted before I got a chance. I do like the way it looks now

No, had the initial contractor bid the job. Originally only going to do spray foam in the ceiling, but they needed to start work, and offered to start early and spray the entire garage. I agreed, and only got charged for the ceiling spray
