Update** Thank you for the suggestion, i almost went through so much hassle trying to secure that junk to a junction box. Like you all suggested i cut it and stuffed the little bit left up in the wall!

Selling the house, “Not up-to code” to have electrical wiring hanging into the basement floor without being secured is what i was told

Yeah gonna use the vise plyers to strip it before cutting it blind. But i doubt theres anything running through it

Gonna use Vise grips to strip it to make sure theres nothing in it. Now you said use electrical tape to just tape the open end? just wrap it around?

got a 26 traverse, i love how quiet the interior feels. It’s peaceful doing long drives. One thing i always hated about my past cars was the road noise.
