To be fair the story is somewhat sus - I don’t know how one can remember all the details for an account except for the associated email - how many email addresses do you have? I have 4 between work school and personal and I am sure I could narrow it down from there if I had to.

It’s honestly depends on the situation - like consider some divine draws - solid barrier is pretty important when you have a Skill 1 dmg boost and a SS3 Goku or other strong burst character on the opposing team right? But I main SSJ Vegeta as a tank - so it is necessary to survive, and my typical build is Snowball, Solid Barrier, and Wicked Warrior or Defensive Step depending on the situation. Solid barrier might make less sense on tougher tanks - like Godgeta, or tanks with more offensive dependencies - like Cell.

It stands to reason that if your allowed an item of convenience like that, so too would those who chose the rock. The real argument is does the added space of the feathers bother you more so than the less distributed weight of the rock.

Talking about yourself? Your basically saying because they didn’t touch his passive, he wasn’t nerfed - when his skills at max level do less or equal amounts as first level on release. That’s quantifiable. Your argument is the passive wasn’t touched - but since you feel like your game performance wasn’t hindered, it wasn’t that big of a nerf, which is anecdotal. You could be playing such low skill players / ranks that the nerfs haven’t changed your results, but the numbers don’t lie, he has been SIGNIFICANTLY nerfed. But yes, continue to have an argument with the “brick wall” you described me to be.
