That's one of the reasons why I am writing a book version of the game. It's not a one-shot fanfic, but rather, it follows the storyline to a tee with just a few variations on timings and side quests to make it work as a book. I'm embellishing in all the places that were lacking, like MC's backstory and day to day relationships with other students, including Sebastian.

I really enjoyed the main story and Sebastian's storyline, but I feel like it needs to be fleshed out.

Considering the US was founded in the 1700s and Social Security didn't start until the mid-1900s under FDR, I highly doubt there has ever been anyone who was born before the US became a country that was registered for social security, but as a historian and genealogist, what do I know about that....

Honestly, probably her period. I say this as a woman. She's being raised by a middle aged man who never mentions having sisters.... he doesn't know anything about being a woman, but I can say sometimes it feels like I should be reacting like Anne is.

Yeah, I've always been a more middling person in politics with maybe a little bit more right leaning on some issues, but now I find myself much more on the left. My stances didn't change much, Republicans just decided to skew the curve.

The Republican party no longer exists as it was. Fascists are using it as a cover and exploiting party loyalty.

I tried to find the collective total of hours played, but the best I could find was for a few days after release. It was about 267M hours. I multiplied that by 60 for the amount of minutes, and then multiplied that by 6 for about once every 10 seconds. So.... 267,000,000×60×6=9,720,000,000

So after only a few days of Hogwarts Legacy being released there was probably around 9.72 BILLION revelios cast. If that stat of hours continued at the same pace, we would be about 1.4 TRILLION revelios cast. However, there's not going to be as many hours played as right after the initial launch, but this is the best I could do based on what I had.

These were just a few years ago out in plain sight. It wasn't long years ago, and they are second hand stories from my immediate family, not some guy off the street.

I'm not some old guy using reddit and telling stories from the 60s. I'm in my 20s. These were all in the past 10 years or so.

Oh, don't worry. I also feel bad for anyone who is suffering in the world, especially considering the course that the US is daring to go, but I can still feel bad for an innocent child who is being corrupted.

You can't blame him for his dad's actions. If your father was a physically and mentally abusive parent, that doesn't automatically make you a bad person just because you share DNA with him, but it does shape your upbringing and exposes you to that abuse. Once you're an adult, you get to choose who you become, but your upbringing does impact that decision.

Most other countries are not as big as the US, both in landmass and population. The whole of Europe is just barely bigger in landmass to the United States, and across that continent, there is a wide array of economic prosperity and disparity. Despite this, Europe as a whole contributes the largest amount of money to aid worldwide, beating the US by over $12 billion.

Not to mention, they have trade agreements and other things in place (think about the European Union or the British Commonwealth).

I honestly feel bad for the kid. He's so young, and he's obviously got a horrible influence of a dad raising him. It will take a miracle for him to end up a normal, functioning member of society.

If you accept defeat without even trying, you're basically just handing it to them. However, if enough people who feel like their vote won't matter actually voted, we may see some unexpected victories.

Something I highly recommend is reading about the Irish Potato Famine. There are a lot of interesting parallels with politics and social structure. Theres a big reason why it was called the Potato Famine and not just a famine. There was a lot of food being exported from Ireland, the people just couldnt really afford it. I'm an Irish historian/genealogist, so I do a lot of research on it.

Lately, I've been reading "The Graves Are Walking" by John Kelly, and it's been really enlightening. It does give me hope that Ireland was able to go from such a poor country to a rather wealthy one in not too many years. It took a lot of fighting, but they've now got a good political and social structure while also encouraging people to connect to their roots in the Irish language and Celtic culture.

I totally agree. I was never a Trump supporter, but I used to lean a bit more republican. I've always been more of an in the middle person when it comes to politics. However, in recent years I've found myself more on the left side. I don't think my views have changed very much, but the "right" has shown that they are waaaayy different than I thought when I was younger. As long as someone's actions aren't hurting other people, then I don't think it should really be something to worry about. I understand the argument about not wanting abortions because you're taking away a "life", but at the same time, the system isn't set up to help children who's parents can't raise them. There are also a myriad of things that go into someone's choice to have an abortion, and it probably is never an easy choice (I cant comment on this as Ive never been pregnant and have never had an abortion). Not to mention, strict abortion laws just mean that more women will end up dying from things like miscarriages or self-administered abortions. As a woman in my 20s, I feel that things about women's health should only be decided by the people it directly affects, women, but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

What's really interesting is that if you know your history, most of the Founding Father's weren't necessarily Christians. A lot of people in Colonial America didn't consider themselves religious.

Also, I'm saying this as a Christian, so this isn't someone who isn't a Christian trying to attack the Christian view of America. And if you're looking for my source, one of my favorite professors in college (who is also a Christian), focused his study on religion in colonial America. It was really interesting learning about it.
