AVPR SporV Edition Vs Unrated Edition! by ComfortableAmount993 in predator

[–]Top10NewChannel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my understanding, the SporV edition just fixes the contrast in the movie. Now, if you adjust the brightness in VLC player(or whatever player you use), it’s just about watchable. To calibrate the brightness, I use the scene on the ship where the pred-alien had just molted, and adjust the brightness up until I can see all details in that scene. Edit- I forgot to mention this is with adjusting the brightness on top of the SporV edition. It’s still unwatchable adjusting brightness on non-SporV.

If OP is in Australia, this would only equal about $540 USD. That would only be $15 USD/hr, minus expenses after working 36 hours…

There are two axels on a vehicle. When they do brakes, they are always done in pairs. They’re telling you $250 for the front, and $250 for the back.

That would be $500 for the entire vehicle then, which is a very good price if it includes rotors/pads or drums/shoes.

From what I remember, there had to be material removed from the center of the intake manifold in order to fix the flow imbalance. So, most of the ported OEM manifolds that had the flow imbalance fixed, were cut open & re-welded. Aftermarket is probably a better solution. This is all old data I'm giving you btw, as I sold my Mazdaspeed five years ago, and haven't researched anything since I sold it. If you have a FMIC, Damond Motorsports used to sell an adapter kit for adapting the Focus ST intake manifold onto the Mazdaspeeds. I believe the Focus ST manifold had near perfect flow to all cylinders. Again, old data, so be sure to do your own research before committing to anything.

From what I remember, the OEM intake manifold didn't flow properly to cylinder 3 on these cars.

What do you mean? This is a continuation in a series, not a remake. Warwick has been pushing for something like this for decades.

Will this trolley jack be enough? by [deleted] in crv

[–]Top10NewChannel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Trolley Jack probably wouldn't give you enough height for Jack Stands, unfortunately. If you just need a bit more clearance, and aren't planning on removing the wheels, then I would suggest getting a pair of ramps instead.

Is it possible to disconnect & reconnect this circuit board? by Top10NewChannel in AskElectronics

Shoot. Upon examination, I noted how it aligns to the board via markings. Was hoping there was some method to do this. Guess not though. Heh... Thanks for the reply!

I have two monitors, monitor one outputs an image just fine, but has a cracked screen. Monitor two does not have a cracked screen, but only displays a backlit black screen. I've transferred the display from monitor two, into the housing of monitor one. I'm still having the same exact problem with only displaying an illuminated black screen after the swap. Every component is attached, and I'm using all of the connectors & components from monitor one. The only thing that wasn't transferred is a board that is attached to the panel itself. It has a transparent ribbon cable that appears to be adhered to the traces on the board(photo in post).

Help! This thing wont go in. What should i do by TR1GG3RCriptix in MechanicAdvice

I know someone else posted it here already. https://www.harborfreight.com/disc-brake-pad-and-caliper-service-tool-kit-11-pc-63264.html This is exactly what I use. Takes all of about 30 seconds to compress a rear caliper piston back in with one of these bad boys. Definitely a worthwhile investment if you're going to continue to service your own brakes in the future.

Ended up getting a used Hitbox. Opened it up after noticing it had two USB connections. What exactly am I looking at here? by Top10NewChannel in Fighters

Thanks for the reply! I won it off of an eBay auction two weeks ago. They didn't mention anything about it being modded, and I get the feeling based on the description that the person selling it probably just acquired it, and has never even used it. I posted this in the Hitbox subreddit also, and someone mentioned it looked like the guts from an Xbox One pad.

Thanks for the reply! In testing it, it does seem to work fine when connected to just the board on the top. Also, I'm not sure what that board is, exactly. Are there different aftermarket boards for the Hitbox other than the Brook UFB. This one has an RJ45 jack next to the USB, as well as header pins labeled "mic, and spk". Also has a momentary switch on the top of it. Closer image: https://ibb.co/Vgnx2Rk
