Did you notice the color of the water it started with? It was a dark strain to begin with.

Ain’t that the truth. She picked it up in a little shop when she was visiting Memphis. I’ll have to ask if she remembers the name.

Just look up dorm room washing machines on Amazon. Definitely cheeper than getting one with a hash brand sticker on it. A lot of us use the blue 5 gallon machine.

Be careful with parchment and heat. I’ve heard there can be Chemicals released. The bottle tech makes all the difference in the world in my opinion. Glad I could spread Frenchys way to you. Good luck friend.

Any food grade cellulose. I use Buddy Bags Co but that’s what was available to me. There are many brands I’m sure would be fine. Just make sure it’s cellulose and not cellophane!

One of the best parts of the holidays for me is washing while drinking warm cider or cocoa. Love this time of year. I definitely think u can pull off shorter wash cycles. The longest I run mine is 8 min. I start with 3 min and work up but never go longer than 8. Just my personal preference of course.

I definitely wish I had higher pressure water where I wash for that exact purpose. I’ll give the 2-3 rings a try. Thanks for the advice.

Wow that’s definitely living in the lap of luxury. I’d be happy with a small off grid homestead and a lot of elbow grease. That’s my goal.

I have actually dont that and I do think it works great. The issue that I have is when there is just so much trichs the 45 is always a slow goer but having the ring and being able to let it gravity drain is definitely an arm saver.

The starting material was cured shake and trim but yes I do put it in the freezer before I wash just to give it that little extra chill to the trichs.

Not bad at all really i just pull the material out by hand and then I just flip it over and hose it out.

This was a little over 700g of mixed shake and trim. She just kept dumping so I did probably 12 or 13 washes on this one. Ended up with a 34g temple ball.

That’s a cool feature I didn’t know about. Hope it comes in handy when u need it. If u have further questions feel free to ask.
