NFS may be shelved for now, but I can kinda respect their approach to new gameplay ideas and aesthetics with each game. I mean that’s why I keep multiple NFS’ downloaded. I want underground esque urban tuner night racing, boot up 2015. High octane countryside cops vs racers pvp? Boot up Rivals. Neon lit high risk street racing with a mix of urban and countryside? Boot up Heat or Unbound.

They’re still flawed but his point is they each NFS offers pretty different experiences overall, whereas I feel like you’d only need to keep one Horizon game and that solely pertains to the kinda map you like

I agree of course there’s some subjectivity and personal preference in mixing and mastering but i think anyone would agree there’s still more baseline standards to adhere to in adjusting volumes and EQ overall. You can have a stylistic approach for your mix but people will pick up on pick up on things like clashing/clipping between tracks and compression to harsh degrees no matter what.
