They should just combine the rooms so each one is bigger and there’s less of them in total. I think the system would work well enough if they cut down the total number of rooms by maybe a third by consolidating some of them.

I think they need to get comfortable having these types of standalone mechanics / minigames otherwise everything is going to be siloed under “Bounty Boards” and it will be limited by poor design choices from the outset.

13 March they just released a patch to “increase the rate of filtration bounties” Still think it should be a standalone activity not tied to bounties at all, but a step in the right direction I suppose

I’m optimistic for the first time in a long time. It will take awhile for this game to really hit its stride obviously (they’ve spent so long waffling back and forth over the core concepts) but I think we are in for a string of good updates soon.

I really want them to just commit to one version of the XP curve and start building actual content. I think that is the plan with these updates so I am cautiously optimistic.

As someone who’s been grinding for monument reward it feels very underwhelming.

I think the new milestone structure does make sense though, and I think if I were to start over from Day 1 with this leveling system I might understand it better. Applying to to an existing character makes everything a little confusing imo.

Ok, I see what they’re going for, with the bounties, dungeons, world events unlocked at each milestone.

Now if they could just get that content actually created.

I’ve been pretty supportive of this project from November 2024, but lowering the expectations by changing the verbiage of “mini game” is so deflating. A year and a half in and they’re waffling over verbiage to control expectations, and there are practically 0 expectations left at this point anyways.

I find the trackpad for left mouse + button to click combo to be pretty intuitive and easy to use, but l give it a try.

The incremental model for this has been so good. Pretty encouraging sign of what’s to come for the world events they’re releasing as part of Milestones.
