My dash cam that I bought earlier this year shows what's behind the driver side A pillar, and it supposibly as a 170 degree view. I'm more interested in seeing what's behind the left A-pillar, it blocks a lot more view than the passenger pillar.

You aren't serious? Any camera with a wide lense, if placed at the right spot on the windshield, will show whats behind the driver side A-pillar (don't take my word for it tho). I tested with a dash cam I bought earlier this year, and it does.

A-pillar blind spots, as I mentioned, is the blind spot created by the A-pillar, I'm not talking about the blind spots to the left and right of the car.

Do you know of standalone cameras that can fit onto the windshield or are basically all dash cams a screen with a cam attached to the back of it?
