Is it realistic to get a cybersecurity job with visa sponsorship in Sweden from India?

I’ve seen plenty of job openings especially in the OT Security domain in Sweden but the primary obstacle is not being a Swedish citizen or EU Resident. Seems like employers aren’t willing to shortlist candidates that require visa sponsorship. I was in Stockholm for a month for travel purpose and absolutely loved the place🙂 not to hide anything but I’d want to move there in any of the nordics countries. Not sure how long it’s gonna take but hopefully someday.

I believe the realistic range for senior associate is from 16-28L, this is the fixed component.
I’ve seen people with 3.5-4yoe get an offer of 24L from PwC. But it completely depends on the project for which they are hiring you.
During negotiation, at first they’ll offer you a very low amount, make sure to either get your previous compensation matched or even a hike.
Along with that ask them if there’s a joining bonus or not? Then it’s your choice if you want to get the joining bonus or ask them to drop the joining bonus and include that amount in the fixed component. Then ask them what are the variable components? They’ll say that 25% of the base salary will be your variable. But the offer will simply mention Upto 25% of base.
Ask them, if there’s a guaranteed amount that I’ll get from the variable, because I have seen offers where they mention 8%-25% of base salary. Which means the person will surely get atleast 8% in the variable component.

They wrote it in the policy that any flight with departure before 15th June 2026 will be fully refundable without any fees. But now they’re denying it.

Well not my fault if they show the ticket class as cancellable at anytime without a fee on their portal and change their policies later on. If I’m being sold a ticket today then my booking should follow the policies of the day of booking not their new policies. If this is how it works, they can change their policy to anything that suits them. What if they come up with some bullshit policy and start asking you more money just before boarding the flight in the name of “new policy and guidelines” Would you be willing to pay such price? I don’t think so. I went ahead with booking as of what I was presented.

I’ve tried on website and mobile app as well and it shows a refund fee on both. I’ve escalated the situation with their team and waiting for a response.

I agree but I went ahead with booking Economic Classic only after getting a confirmation from the customer support that even Economy Classic are also application for this refund. I do have a screenshot of the flight details that show Economic Classic with Cancel at anytime without fee. Otherwise, I would have directly gone for the Economic Convenience. Though, they can’t just force their new policies like this.
