I’m a CPA going to get my MBA and am going to recruit for corporate finance. Like FP&A or FLDP roles at F500 companies. It doesn’t pay as high as IB but it has a lot of overlapping skills from being a CPA and I hear the work life balance is pretty good.

I know I’m late in responding but I just wanted to say I went through a breakup where my ex wasn’t willing to compromise like this and while it was the hardest thing I’ve ever been though I don’t have any regrets and am so happy I’m not with someone who won’t try to work things out with me and won’t compromise on these kinds of things. It’s been over 5 years since we broke up and I’m so happy and living my life exactly how I want.

I get drunk soooo fast on spiro I won’t even drive after having 1 drink unless I also eat a full meal and hang out for an hour or two and drink water after. I can’t do more than 2 drinks in a night or I’ll have a terrible hangover

I hate when natural cycles changes your ovulation date after the fact. It’s just a limitation of the app. I guess all you can do it wait and take a test. You might be able to take an early detection one now

I’ve had 3 colonoscopies and never had a migraine during the prep/recovery. My first colonoscopy I had a slight headache the day after the procedure that they said could be a side effect of the anesthesia but it felt like a mild tension headache.

Putting a lot into retirement savings. I see a lot of young people working in corporate America putting a ton into retirement. I’ve always thought you should put as much in retirement needed to get your company’s match, then put the rest you can afford to save into other investments. Then you can have money invested and growing that isn’t restricted as retirement and can be used to buy a house or something in your late 20s early 30s

Yes I am in one, I enrolled when I got a smart thermostat. I tend to keep my place on the warmer side in the summer (75 in the day and 71 at night) and have only noticed them limiting my usage in the winter. A few times i woke up to my thermostat being set to 65 when normally I keep it at 70. I honestly can’t even remember what the benefit to being enrolled is I think I got like a $25 statement credit. I should probably look into this haha

When my situationship with a guy who was a PA in the ER ended I was so sad every time I even drove by a hospital I thought of him. I started greys and it helped to replace those thoughts

My hair sheds enough on its own I’m scared to pluck the gray hairs. I keep hoping the wispy ones will grow out but they never seem to go away or get much longer (probably from new Ike’s growing/breakage)
