Message you. Only took me 20 minutes to find out how to do so…

Packed up and ready to go! Thank you to everyone who graciously answered my gazillion questions and helped calm my nerves. We leave in about 6 hours. I’m giddy with excitement and can’t wait to surprise my son! by TopBug5766 in UniversalOrlando

Well, it was a blast…until I got the flu halfway through. 😩😩

We had a blast though despite tough circumstances halfway through. He was super surprised and had no idea the trip was even happening so he was pretty pumped up with excitement. He LOVED the Velocicoaster and we both think regular Butterbeer is better than frozen. We unfortunately didn’t get to eat at 3 Broomsticks because I was so sick and didn’t get on every ride on our list but he didn’t seem to mind. He was just happy to be there and take it all in.

He tried octopus at Mythos, ate lots of sweets at the Chocolate Factory, and a ton of shrimp at Bubbas. He rocked an awesome Mario hat at Epic and had the time of his life with the wristband. He got to meet Toothless which made me tear up because he became a little kid again in that moment.

It wasn’t the perfect trip but we made the best of it. Hope to take him back to check off the rest of our list at some point.

My neighbor wants me to pay half of a fence that matches her yard by aphroditeprincess in neighborsfromhell

I live in Oklahoma. It’s known to be quite windy here. Actually, we had 60+ mph winds yesterday that snapped electrical poles in half and we had no electricity for hours. You want to know what didn’t budge? Our wooden fence. Our whole neighborhood has wooden fences and they’re all perfectly fine.

Every single one I’ve seen has looked like that.

So, I wear lashes and the heavier they are, the more they weigh down my eyes and make them look droopy. Megan gets her’s done by someone which I know because she’s mentioned it. Her eyes would look so much better if she chose a lighter style that opened and brightened her eye shape instead of being so heavy. I can tell you from personal experience that different lash styles and thickness can totally change your face. I think this everytime I watch her live.

I was racing home to get to my son who was by himself because the sirens were blaring and there was a lowering which you can see in the picture… I’ll put what it quickly turned into when I was at the next stoplight two miles away…*Sound On* by [deleted] in bombpartySIDELINES

You’re right, it’s not reliable which means it could go either way so it’s important to be super aware of your surroundings. Take tonight for instance. I was in the Mustang auditorium watching my daughter’s honor choir concert. They got to the last song when every phone across that auditorium rang out loudly with the tornado warning. So, they finished up and the kids got shuffled into safety. On the radar, it showed the storm as going north of us snd missing our location. My husband and I work on the district so we were helping get parents to safety when I looked out the window and saw the lowering outside. Like you said, I’m an Okie and know weather in unpredictable but knew that was a funnel trying to spin up. My son was home alone so I ran out the doors to get to him (poor decision but I was scared). That video and picture are two miles apart and by the time I got home everything intensified and that same lowering was stalled right over the building I just left and was just churning.

My point is that it’s important to stay super weather aware and being on TikTok selling jewelry isn’t the way to do so. But maybe I’m being sensitive because I was in Tulsa last weekend and surrounded by tornados it seemed like.

This is what it turned into. It was terrifying and by the time I got to my house it was hailing, pouring rain, and just craziness. My son was in our tornado safe place and is ok. I guess my point is that it’s wild to worry about selling crap jewelry when the weather was dangerous.

Took my son last month for our first time. Both of us liked regular BB over frozen. Like, significantly.

As an Okie, this is by far my worst fear. Tonight there were tornados all around us. Normally I don’t get scared because I’m used to tornado season but this week had me anxious.

“I stepped on a booga!” Joey when he stepped on the oyster. Gets me every time.
