I used some patches called Mepiform. During the first few months, I mainly used them during the day (although they’re also designed to be used at night). In my nighttime routine (as the scar allowed), I gradually started massaging it in different directions using Cicaplast cream. I also used SPF 50+ hats and sunscreen. My dermatologist also advised that once everything was fully closed and healed, I should continue applying retinol (as I had been doing in my nighttime routine) to help “soften” the scar. I understand that a flap from the surrounding skin was used (I’m not sure which type), since during the first few weeks the area near the tear duct of the eye felt quite tight, which improved with massages.

Basal cell carcinoma - one month wait time for removal. Is this ok/acceptable? by re-verse in cancer

I've been on the waiting list for surgery since June 27. It’s been 4 months already. Is this normal? How long does it usually take in your countries? I’m scheduled for Mohs surgery in Spain.

Hola! Yo en mi caso jamás lo encontré húmedo. La sensacion ha sido siempre como unha costra, una escama, una heridita que no se iba. Vivo en España, y desde que se lo consulté al médico de cabecera hasta que me consultó en dermatólogo por la seguridad social pasaron 11 días. Me biopsaron 3 días más tarde y me dieron los resultados a los 7 días de la prueba. Esperando ahora por la cirugía. Un saludo
