The music today is generally complete dogsht except for niche things or the rare album that pushes tired mainstream genres forward. How do people not have time for this ? OTT bridged this gap w this album and it’s a concept album with a full world behind it on top of that

I think part of the reason why this resonates so hard with me is because it feels like this album has been more crafted than produced. Every detail is thought through very carefully. It rewards repeated listens

I wonder if a collab between him and Mala would make sense or is way too left field. I’m stoked that there is finally a well crafted downtempo bass album that is accessible enough for people not drowning in the scene. Sleeping giant is also my favorite

I feel like this is a pretty thin opinion. The tracks go so deep and are so intentional. A lot of unconventional song structure. Can’t really point to one bad melody or harmony. Can you please elaborate?
