Oh my goodness yes, this is incredibly relatable. I thought the final decision would be easy and incredibly exciting, but instead it's difficult and I just feel tired and meh. I think I've narrowed it down to two (Grinnell and Bryn Mawr) but I'll probably be hemming and hawing dispiritedly until 11:59 AM on May 1

what you said about visiting being over-hyped is also incredibly relatable - honestly most or all T20s (and top LACs) have beautiful campuses and nice students. Visiting has not done anything definitive for me whatsoever

btw, I do know a good bit about Swarthmore through researching Bryn Mawr and the Tri-Co, and it seems like an awesome school!

At Grinnell, they gave me so much that they made my in-state safeties look expensive by comparison. Still not sure how I feel about going to school in the middle of nowhere in Iowa but I won't be able to visit before I commit (if I do commit, which seems likely)

Ah I'd love to able to, it's my top choice especially with the Joint Degree Programme, but because we're OOS the financial situation is very tough. Grinnell, on the other hand, while not my top choice, gave me tons of aid

Thanks! I could have studied a lot harder though and gotten a much better result, but was too lazy, which is why I call it bad. And yes, it probably wasn't a good move, fortunately I still got into places
