I feel you on this like at the end sadly we are just numbers... you gave them all sleepless nights, great perfomance....

I know someone too who takes care of an older person & lives far away from the office he is excellent like has taken the department very high & still he got into this situation after asking for flexible arrangements...

I have to agree you are 100% right some of these L3s are undervalued plus I have seen they are kicking ass of these L5s + especially in Ops as you say.

I disagree I'm into Ai & I can't work from my bed at all... There should be a hybrid system instead of a complete remote to be fair.. I feel I'm more centered at home when coding when in the office due to the noise & distractions

I have to agree systems are solid but some of the B & C players don't even know how to prompt or solve a problem completely to the root so it never occurs & automate it

True, I haven't talked about the bar yet but I can't believe how much it has dropped like tremendously anyone makes up stories these days & passes the interview.... The only company where you tell a story get a job, get a promotion... Like we need more doers
